Another relaxdaily calm piano session. Relaxing piano music to focus, for your study music playlist, for reading, reflecting, taking action, manifesting, or simply to enjoy. The title: A reminder for myself to keep striving for greatness.
Title: Back to Glory | Type: original fantasia piano music session
When I think of glory, I think of achievement or a desirable state. When I think of it as a direction in life, I think of creativity, beauty, health, time well spent, joy, true happiness. Sometimes it can mean to fight, to defend, to take effort. Sometimes it can mean following a path of constant, smooth, enjoyable motion, following personal interests, feeling alive, elevating one’s state, growing, while respecting resources, boundaries, and other life forms.
The title could have been “Back to Greatness”. “Back to Glory” is stronger, and it's what popped into my mind recently. Maybe my body's cry for getting back to creating beautifully again?
Why back to it? Have I, or have we as individuals, neighbours, collectives, companies, societies, nations, humanity lost it? I can’t speak for you, but this is how I relate to it: Maybe it’s simply in my DNA, maybe we all have it, but one of my values seems to be greatness. I love great things, days, environments, objects, designs, results, states of being, people. I believe we human beings are the greatest tech that exists on this planet, and that each of us has tremendous potential for unbelievable awesomeness. Incredible potential. And even more so when you put a couple of us together working on one thing. It’s a joy for me to see the development of the human race from today’s perspective. History teaches us where we come from, our lifetime experiences show us the current state of art. Of course not everyone would say they lead a glorious life, and we all have different stages in our lives. A potential for awesomeness also doesn’t mean we are automatically entitled to it. After all, it’s a potential. But one thing I believe is: We all are born as glorious beings. Most young kids, and some adults, remind me of the insane potential there is almost every day.
I once had the idea of creating a KZread channel filled with music that might somehow slow down the fast pace and rush of so called modern life on earth. At least for some. My ideal was to create, record, share the best music (and video) I personally was capable of. For me as a pretty average person, I knew this would mean dedication, focus, some renunciation maybe, and lots of work. Was I able to create what I set as a goal for myself? I don’t know. In the past, most of the time I felt like I didn’t get even close to my full potential. But recently I learned to accept that for a few minds and hearts the music I create is just right. And that’s something I’m very grateful for.
I still don’t know the exact cause, it might also have to do with an unbalanced lifestyle, but I got weaker in the past years. Maybe I burned out a bit? I cannot carry heavy camera systems anymore to film nature, I need more sleep, can’t watch at computer screens for too long, there are days when I feel I got only half of the energy I’m used to, or less, in some of my days. Maybe you are in a similar situation, physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, or maybe you are completely fine and super happy. I for myself had to take a slower pace in the past years, and it might be necessary to continue this way for some longer. But I also noticed just recently that there are two states of being. One is to grow, the other is to diminish. Of course there’s also a super important third one that I’d call to regenerate, but I believe that’s a healing state belonging to the growth state. What I noticed is that I want or need to be in that growth state again. I need a goal. A reason. A vision. A direction. One that is true to who I am. To move forward with meaning. On more than one dimension in life.
I’m not ok anymore with seriously risking health for the success of work or results. I will allow my engines and systems to get warm or even hot at times, but I don’t let them burn (anymore). With that in mind, I want to find ways to continue creating beauty. Efficiently, effectively, and sometimes just for the sake of it. Following my inner voice, the me inside of me, allowing ideas to manifest, while respecting resources, boundaries, and other life forms.
I can’t know where you are in life. But I’m sure you’re born as a human. That on its own is glorious. Breathe glorious you, breathe, as long as you can, be yourself, grow, play, love, take the game controller into both hands and play your life game, feel the beautiful light around you.

I would love to experience the joy of helping others! I don't get many chances to do service for others but when I do, I love seeing the smiles on their faces! It makes me feel good inside! I would keep my singing teacher and my voice for singing, I love singing! And I would definitely want to keep singing for others! I have a strong desire to become a singer, not only for others to feel emotions and power from each song but for everyone to feel the love of the Savior in their lives! To know they aren't alone in life! I want to achieve greatness to shine as bright as my stage name, "Crystal Gem". Thank you for these really thoughtful questions, it really helps me become a better me!😊

I would like to see myself free... I need more freedom in my life. It doesn't need to be something extreme, outside the system or be off the grid. I just want to own myself a little more, specially in my job. Thanks for asking, for your work and for sharing your beautiful art... lots of love 💕

Personal greatness, nah that is a never-ending striving for an illusion, a consciousness seemingly limited by this identifying as a body. You are not your body. You are eternal. God is Love and Love is God and that is all. There's nothing to do but love and forgive and AWAKEN!
Hi Michael, when I think of greatness or glory it always leads me to Jesus and the amazing reality that glorifies His children by living inside of us and becoming one with us. It is a process of transformation, He makes us great.

I was kind of in my flow with this session, Sherry. But, honestly, would you say this one is a little too busy music wise for relaxation? Personal opinion ;)

@@relaxdaily You were in your own flow as should be. My opinion, that doesn't matter, is that it had reflective moments/notes and then a back to glory melody, as you titled it perfectly. I don't think it was busy in the sense of not coming a cross as relaxing. Different melodies hit different when a person listens and depending on someones mood, emotions, etc. at the time, they will resonate. You played at Michael's pace and flow. Those that are in that mood/flow/vibration when they listen will resonate with it. Have a beautiful day my friend. ☕️😁

nice to see you again! as always i'm happy to read your description of the title and glad to connect to you on a human level. i think may be is time for you to laydown confortably and enjoy your own music🥰 and relax a bit, i beleive that some times we should stop thinking and doing any thing to be able to set new goals in life and may be descover new intrests. for me, the greatest thing i would like to do, is to be able to travel around the world and see the most beatiful places in the world with a partner with whom i share love and common values, and enjoy as much as i can of diffrent experiences in life , to always grow and learn a new things, to be always a student of life.

In the evenings, usually it's only your music that I listen to. I love all kinds of music, but only your music in the evenings. It calms my nervous system, soothes my mind and gives peace. You are a gem, and I can't thank you enough for your music videos. What an inspiration to show you playing for hours, with such beautiful backgrounds.
