Duck camp dinners is fine as frog hairs. The guys, the camaraderie, and culture. Everything about it just depicts the hunting camp culture of the south no matter the species being chased or whether or not limits/tags are filled it’s about that brotherhood bond.

Jean-Paul, can’t wait for more of these great recipes to try. The duck camp reminds me of the deer camp of my youth all the older guy’s preparing meals and telling stories of hunts past. I’m not by any means saying you’re old though. I really wish those days never ended. Now I have a family and trying to keep the camp mentally alive for the next generation. Its an incredible tip. The cool thing too is it’s actually faster than plucking for many birds. Only thing you miss i suppose is the skin with this method.

I never understood how blessed I was to live here and have this culture as a way of life until I grew up and realized this was not common everywhere. I love our heritage and culture and I thank the meat eater crew for spreading it literally throughout the world and not In a stereotypical way. I wouldn't change a thing about our way of life. My roots are deep and ill never leave. Cajun by the grace of God!!
