paywall boooo just make it free with fuck tons of adds. you have a monopoly ton the broadcasting and the paywall means less and less people see the sport.
I can't imagine what it feels like to celebrate your World Record for 5 minutes and then have it snatched...pun intended🥵

Karlos is the best ! If he manages to protect himself from injuries, in the next 5 years we will see a lot of things from him. He is 19 now imagine him at 23-24 he will be a beast!

If he start taking drugs at 16 years of age, he has a ride of 10 years before his body collapse. So... probably a monster for the next 3-5 years. Then he will start having injuries and will finish like Shi Zhyong.

Easily by 23-24 he’s going to hit 230+ and 185+ (in C+J and Snatch)

I agree Suplex. Both World champs at 17, numerous world records, roughly same size; 85-94-89, Let’s hope he doesn’t duplicate Ilya in everything by losing 2 Olympic titles to doping though.
That 182 by Lopez looked so smooth and easy that l wouldn't be surprised to see him break the record again very soon.

Yeison Lopez looked like he could have done 185+. It almost didn't even look heavy for him.

Yeah it was Lasha's level of easy-looking-lift lol
Lol Lopez got the best of Karlos here, (and did better than Gigachad's snatch too) but the comments are almost exclusively talking about Karlos. Props to him for winning the 89s, but Lopez deserves high praise for the amazing, high pressure performance here.

He should've lost points for missing a snatch.

Hey Julian this is a 2 event sport in case you haven’t noticed. Your boy Lopez didn’t get the best of Nasar he simply out snatched him. Karlos beat him comfortably with his first jerk. Lopez could beat him by 10 kg in snatch and would still lose overall.

I feel like Lopez still isn’t getting the credit he deserved. I know it was still a world record at the time, but Nasar’s video is everywhere. Like why is the thumbnail Nasar?
