It was great to get a chance to pop in for a cuppa last Friday whilst returning from a job I did in Plymouth. Hope you and Fudgey enjoyed the biscuits. Fudgey had certainly put some effort in to get his Capri a bit further along with the build. Can’t wait for the next amazing adventures on Wednesday.

Those old 902 Sprinters with the OM 602 5 pot engines were definitely the best Sprinters made, virtually indestructible!!👍👍

I've got a watch for your Trabant, a Saxon faux chronograph windup that was apparently knocked out as a sideline by them Trabant building crafty east Germans, when I gets me van back drop it over so at least you can hang it from the mirror as a bit o' history hehehe Surprisingly works very well then you can have the full GDR "experience" well you might need to find some baggy work trousers and cardboard boots and a donkey jacket for the full monty hehehe

for info only those over plating an A pillar on a capri or mk5 cortina both fail in the same way do not remove the door whn overplaing the door will not swing back into place happily

Al, Sprinterage question. Why do I often see a quick flash of the reverse lights from Sprinters when they pull away in front? Crap gear linkage, crap wiring? I see it all the time.

Of the current line up of larger van what would you purchase? I have a poverty spec 2020 Crafter and love it but not sure the engine and gearbox will last 200k let alone 400k.

Hi mate I've got a 2005 mercedes sprinter 311 cdi, ive need the nearside rear arch panel, back doors bottom panel repairing and giving the lower half of the van re spraying oh and also my water pump is leaking and the heaters only blow out cold air. Would you take the job on and what sort of labour price are we looking at?

Al, do you know someone who might be interested in giving my 3 wheel van a blowover? I got the daytona yellow paint in cellulose and the filler primer, did try and find the taxi bloke over in Bournemouth who used to do yellow cab blowovers for £150 but seems he's long gone, I bought cellulose because its the only big stuff you can do outdoors nowadays, its an old plastic pig so not wanting showroom lol
