Back On The BAUR! Repairing The Typical Rusty Floor & Sill! Classic BMW E30 Rust Repair
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We are back on the E30 Baur restoration. In this episode we are tackling the notorious floor pan rust as well as the inner and outer sills. These E30's always love to rust in these areas. We cut the floor section and the sill section out to expose yet more rust!

Must have been a late 1, even the camera kept nodding off 😂😂
If this was a recording about someone restoring his bmw e30 i wouldnt watch it, they should all just get scrapped. I watch because of the great craftmanship and that doesnt matter what car your doing. Cheers for all the content
Thanks Ryan. You work late but rust never sleeps. Best wishes.

You're spoiling us with so much content, love it, thank you!
The metal mastercraftmen at work....... Such a pleasure to watch.
I cant wait to see some of these cars completed, I've been subscribed for like 5 months and havent seen any of them done, really goes to show just how much work it takes to restore a car!

This car is already complete. It was painted last week and done from our end. I'm just 4 videos behind on the editing. The footage you see in this video was from 2 months ago

New music is great!! Talented work as always!
Thanks for the video. And thank you for using your mask when welding. Keep up the good work.
Awesome
Cheers. Something to watch as I enjoy a morning roast.
You really got to love BMW... all those sections, all this rust... oh my word! Premium brand! Really?
looking really good, great work and looking forward to the next episode
Try blootak under the tripod legs..
How long have you been working on the diaster datsun?
Butchered now beautiful! 👌😁
The work gone into this is just unreal. How can that value be transferred to the car when it's finished? Man hours alone its well beyond the price of a new BMW.
Just put some bubble wrap around the GoPro that you are going to keep dropping so it will bounce 😂🤣
Your camera has caught the same virus as cris the professional strugler .yea it has.😂.👍. Keep er lit.
Wot!! No jacking point? Lol
Magnets required 😂😂😂
Again great work, Rust is evil why didn't you zap it with the ray gun!!!

@@yorkshirecarrestoration Fair enough I think you need to try your skills with it soon.
You don't need spoiler alerts, we all know full well that every episode is likely to reveal more rust or filler until you've killed it all.
I wonder if we took YEH! out of your videos would there be enough commentary left for you? Lets see if you can do one video with out saying "Yeh", this could be fun.
Ryan. These uber late night won't do you any good buddy. Love your work but look after yourself son.
Not happend on all your last restorations - I would like to see boroscope views of those sills and chassis legs that you are leaving alone, as it seams odd just repairing sills just each end ...and we cant see inside the chassis legs, so we are left sort of blind without the information that only you have. also would be nice to see real close ups of of you grinding welds down, because i dont know about you, but if a panel is 0.7mm thick ..if i do a butt weld ..the grinding of the weld will make it 0.5mm thick in that area ..would be nice to see how you avoid that-- because i cant and would like to learn ..thanks for providing a great channel.

This is a customers car. We asked if they wanted the whole sill replaced but they said no. It will have surface rust inside there but as you saw, inside wasn't too bad when I removed the outer panel. We used cavity wax on all of the voits etc. (This car is already complete)

@@philtucker1224 I have no where near the skills of these guys, im not worthy, nor could i endure what they do, hours of angle grinding, noise, dust, fumes..they deserve huge respect, i was just saying how they could enhance the videos a little bit , for the curious and eager to learn amongst us.

Was that you commenting the same on an earlier video where they had the soy face thumbnail? Because I read that and it was actually gnawing at me that you're right, soy face thumbnails irks me majorly.
