Good for you, we also did our first ride since October. The wife was riding our 21 Sea to Sky to work October 11 and got T-boned. Two brain bleeds, all ribs cracked, and her tail bone. They had to do a frame replacement and we got the bike back on friday. took it out for a full day yesterday and she is back riding pain and all.

Yes she has head aches, occasional blurry vision at night and dizziness. But she was depressed about not riding. We went to Calico ghost town yesterday. 2 hours there, and 3 back. We rode a section of Route 66 on our way home. She drove half the time and had lots of fun

Great to hear you are able to get out and ride again, after being in the hospital. I had emergency surgery last August to remove my inflamed gallbladder, so didn't get to ride much during that month. The first ride of the season is always special. Safe Travels. 🙂🏍🇨🇦

Bah hah hah hah, TC! You are too funny! And yes, you are absolutley right about TommyG's audio...so we don't have mics for the gopro's...we use our Sena 10C EVO's and I sync the audio to the go pro video...whoever is recording seems to have the better audio...so I am thinking we both need to record and I can use the audio from each Sena as needed. I spend more time editing audio than anything...and I can't remember why we don't have mics...let's see...was it because we couldn't use our coms...TommyG had a reason when I asked him...I just can't remember what it was...I'll ask him again. 🙏🤗💜

I did manage to have a ride out with Alex The Adventures of Bleary View on Saturday, it was misty and wet but still good to blow away some cobwebs.

Awhhh, thank you so, so much! I appreciate your kind words! I am so, so grateful to still be here. 🙏🙏🙏 And I've been able to wean off a few meds though it's taken 11 months. My headaches lasted for 8 months but they are now gone 🤗🤗🤗

I am glad to see you are back riding. "Holy cow..." she said. :) It is great to ride again, I can imagine. It is always a great feeling, even just sitting, but riding even more. :) Tommy wasn't so sure when you asked him to be a pillion. :)

Too much salt on the roads. I will wait until we have a couple good spring rains to clear the roads. I did see a few bikes out around here on those warm days. My best friends had a Harley trike and the husband thought nothing of switching off and riding on the back when he got tired.@@PurpleOnThree

The Spyder has cover quite a lot of miles through the years. Just like you I think that it is ready for another season. Now you are probably waiting for another sunny day to go for another ride. :) Enjoyed the video very much. Just take care. Cheers.

Thank you so much, Dan! For some reason, the F3's are not as warm as the RT's...the RT has two settings. I was hoping the newer F3's would have warmer ones, but I guess not. Seriously though, look on Amazon for the Kemimoto universal wraps. Spyder Wayne just got a set for his ADV bike and he loves them. They are less than $35 and you can get 3 heat settings or 5 heat settings. 🤗🙏💜

Wow, yeah I’m glad you’re getting out. And that you’re even able to I saw about your hospital visit in one of your videos. But I did not know the effects of it carried on this long for you. So glad you’re recovering.

Yes, it's a marathon this recovery...not a sprint...headaches can last a long time but they are certainly less in the intensity than when I came home in September from the hospital. Had a lot of folks praying and still do...I am grateful! My head didn't hurt any worse the next day so I gook that as a good sign!🙏💜🤗

I’m certainly glad that we can believe in the power of prayer. You got mine for what they’re worth. I guess they’re worth a lot, they’re God’s not mine ha ha. Well, you know what I mean. Some days at work I have to wear readers all the time and staring at Tattoos for hours with strong readers will give me a headache and then I have to go home with that helmet on and I couldn’t imagine the type of headaches you get in your recovery it’s not a fun feeling.

Glad you are able to ride again.

They are shooting for the first weekend in November, roadwarrior foundation for veterans.

So glad to hear you have recovered from your health scare. Even better that you're back on the Spyder just as the weather would be coming into riding weather. We're entering Autumn (Fall) here in Australia so we've still got a few months of riding left. Riding is good for the mental health nothing beats a good ride to lift the spirits.
