Good stuff Paddy! I’ll start cycling the MHS loop on 2nd November. Good to see it looking so lush after the rains.

Great music and camera vantage points on the bike! I am thinking of doing the loop this coming long weekend and you have inspired me! I have been to MHS town many times but I always returned through Soppong and Pai, never completing the loop. I think I gotta do it!

Can't believe this Honda dream survived the MHS loop!! A thousand backyard mechanics said it wouldn't last after the major breakdown. Astonishing feat, couldn't kill this beast with a stick...glorious sunset light on the Buddha.

We already watched the bike group trip and laughed so much. But also felt so sorry for Paddy with the stress which Mark caused. Well worth watching. Cathy and Kevs x

My previous comment disappeared for some reason, so I'll try again! Paddy, I'm so pleased you featured Wat Doi Kongmu, on the hill above MHS. Like you, I have every special memories of the place, and it is one of my fave temples in Thailand. So much so, in fact, that I actually sprinkled some of my mum's ashes there a few years ago, as I had never been able to take her there. Well done for finding the GT Riders memorial there too. Their ashes are placed behind the name plaques. They have a memorial ride to it every November. I suppose I would call myself an Associate Member..! Respect!

I visited Mae Hong Son 15years ago..wow it was really beautiful and still remember the Burmese temple beside the lake and the market near by.. really miss it..thank you so much for the video

Hello Paddy, my friend has me binging watching your videos. We visited Thailand in October/November of 2017 and rode 5700 kms in three weeks. We visited some of the places you visited but feel like we missed out after watching your videos and listening to you describe each of the places. I will definitely return for another epic trip and thanks to your videos I will absorb much more from my trip. I love the dreamy shirt. That will most likely be a bday gift for my buddy. Cheers. Maybe we will meet up with you next time we visit. Keep posting the videos.

Last evening we visited the temple and the rider’s memorial to watch the sunset. Absolutely beautiful. This morning we got up early to visit the temple to watch the sunrise. As the sunrise came nearer to clouds became thicker. There is always tomorrow morning. I hear that the sunflowers are in bloom. We are headed there after breakfast.

So nice to see a little bit of MHS. It’s such a Great ride from Pai. Went there 15 years ago and nice to see not much has changed unlike Pai which became such a big attraction for both Thai’s and backpackers! One time I counted over 80 mini vans going back to CM from Pai! That’s how popular Pai had become in the 2010’s! Thanks Paddy for your beautiful video’s! .

Love Mae Hong Son and loved riding the loop. I promised myself that I would go back and ride it again but I haven't done it yet. Maybe this year.

Got as far as Pai only to find out most (actually all) of the waterfalls, caves and a load of other sightseeing attractions (especially around Pangmapha) are closed till November 1st. Mae Hong Son is an absolutely peaceful, beautiful, and incredible province. The people are very kind and the happiest province in Thailand according to happiness index exploration by the Thai government 🥰🥰🥰

crowds and tourists! i will look at the crazy busy roads of bangkok and the bustling soi bukhao will a different respect when i next come to thailand, which hopefully will not be long to go!!!!

Northern Thailand is amazing

Did the same detour to the sunflowers. And they where not in bloom as well. Funny part: i asked for directions before i made the detour at a police check. When i came back and asked them why thy didn't tell me, they just said " you didn't ask". I love this country
