The Back 40 is great single track for sure. I would like more features though 😅

At 5:30 Is that a two way trail? What if someone is heading towards at 12 or so mph? Just wondering

Yes all of Back40 is two way. I won’t lie, going fast on a two does present some risk… but honestly, all you need is good situational awareness to see (and hear) when other riders are on the trail. In that instance, my buddy was ahead of me, which allowed me to go a bit faster, as I could trust his judgment being the frontman. It is the frontman’s responsibility to call out “rider!” whenever someone is on a trail in this situation you are alluding to. Mountain biking has inherent risks though, there is no getting past that. But if you employ good judgement, and have good situational awareness, you really don’t have to worry about anything 👍

Correct, Back 40 is more of a singletrack trail system. That’s not to say there aren’t fun downhill sections… there is some great flow out there. But not a lot of purpose built features.

I do love me some good single-track, Back-40 has some of the best for sure! I'll be doing a video on my favorite single-track in the area, called Hobbs State Park. Absolutely incredible trails out there, and more remote than Back 40 which is always a plus 🤠

How was the front 40?
