Su-Metal (the singer in the middle) actually is an excellent dancer but she's the lead singer, and when they're live, she sings live, no lip synch, so she dances less when she's actually singing but she DOES sing while dancing too. She's awesome, to be honest.

@@LosFloChannel Amazing, isn´t she? We call her "Queen" for several reasons 😉You should experience them (BABYMETAL) live and you´ll be blown away by their talent. But then she (Su-Metal) doesn´t dance that much and hard, she needs air for her (excellent) live singing. All three of them are formidable dancers, and the two "main dancers" are very good singers, too. You´ll hear it with their harmonies they are doing. But they had special solo songs, too, and both were shining! You could try a special fancam edit of "Kingslayer" to watch the both "main dancers" more closely and see how frikkin´ fast and energetic THEY are when unleashed. All three ladies are VERY talented 😄

Electric Callboy switches between EDM and metal back and forth in every song. Babymetal layers a J-Pop "girl group" clean singing & choreographed dance style over a heavy metal sound. So this collaboration is the perfect combination of their sounds and styles.

Baby Metal started as a fusion between Metal and J Pop. They have matured into a group that can fuse almost any genre with their Metal foundation. Because they sprang from Japanese Idol culture, don't play instruments and focus on performance, they've run into a lot of Metal purists who dismiss them as "Not real metal". Despite this they have earned their spot as an Iconic International band. They've performed with the biggest names in the industry and are known for amazing concerts with incredible audience participation. You might like Pa Pa Ya or even Shanti Shanti Shanti. In my opinion they are the MSG of collaborations because every song is better with some Baby Metal added lol.

Since I haven't seen anyone answer you'r question yet about if that hurts them at all to scream like that. It can unless you train to do it properly and all of these people can do it safely. Most singers don't use their regular vocal cords to do screams, it's actually false vocal folds just above your normal ones. When done correctly it doesn't hurt the singer at all. Glad you liked the song!

Those are two very good groups. Electric Callboy genre is sometimes called Party Core. They mix EDM and Metal and having great fun doing so. They have two singers. One that go clean and can go high. One that do coarse vocals but can sing clean. Their main tools for entertaining is surprise and being unbelievable catchy. Babymetal genre is sometimes called Cute Metal. Its a mix of cute girls that sings in a cute way backed with a very heavy metal band. They started when they were very young, 13 and 11. And the two 11 year old girls were chosen because they were extra small and cute and could dance. The lead singer Su was chosen because she was very good at singing and had a very strong stage presence. As small they were very big (sic!) 2010 to 2018. Now they are grown up and one girl is not the original girl.

Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like edm elements then you gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this amazing group. Today they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) and everyone went wild with this collab. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dance less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. Next suggestion to meet another collab they did outside of the new album: - METALI!! official MV or better yet official live. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Nice reaction. Welcome to the Foxhole where there is room for all to make their happy place. The video director is the one Electric Callboy uses. So, for many of their fans this video feels like home. But Babymetal is just as at home here or anywhere. These ladies can do anything and have been since 2010. For a look at their early stuff checkout Uki Uki Midnight. Next up to see how far they have gone to mix up genres' checkout Night Night Burn. And for how they're killing it recently look at Metal! For the crazy fun that Electric Callboy can bring checkout Hypa Hypa. These two groups were destined to make this collaboration. They just didn't know it. Things that make you go Hmmm. RATATATA

(DMD/Dentist here: I worked with trauma cases and med-compromised folks, and taught the subject in a clinical setting at a PNW teaching U.) Properly done, Harsh Metal vocals are not dangerous to the vocal cords. In fact many vocalists (including Kevin, Nico and Momo here) can switch and change between cleans and harsh vocals in half-a-heartbeat. I do harsh vocals for fun.... NO problem w/my cleans. Freaks out the patients too. Good relaxation therapy as well. Just do it right.... just like you gotta do an upper range belt properly to be safe.... similar stuff/precautions w/harsh vocals. Both these bands make US-music scene groups look lame. The concerts are INSANE. Incredible live quality. Pumpin' crowds. You should check out both bands.

And if there's pathologic content (e.g. scar tissue after major reconstructive surgery) I am right back in my old clinic, 20 years ago... I wish the knowledge base we have now existed back then.

BabyMetal is kind of like metal for people who don't listen to metal. Not that there's not a lot of metalheads who love them too, but they make an aggressive genre more palatable for those unaccustomed to it. The same could be said of Electric Callboy in a way, because their cleans are so smooth and the non-metal parts are so dancey, and the songs/videos are so comedic. But BabyMetal is definitely an easier way to dip one's toe into metal waters. XD You might like them. I hope you check out more. Monochrome is a recent release that's been pulling a lot of non-metalheads in. And remember, when reacting to BabyMetal, live versions are the way to go. Nice reaction. 🤘🦊🤘

What a nice reaction. It's refreshing to see persons who isn't really into metal opinion on the song. Hopefully you'll react to other babymetal songs in the future. If you like the choreo there is different choreo for every song they have. Also I think the girl in the center (Su-metal) had the most energy in this video because she is the lead singer of BABYMETAL and she usually doesn't get to do as much choreo as the other 2 girls because she focuses more on the singing. So maybe she was just really feeling herself since she got to do the same choreo as the other 2 on this video.

I wasn't into metal for the majority of my life (EDM was my go to along with movie score music [both orchestral and electronic]) so when I was Introduced to Electric Callboy early in 2021 (through Hypa Hypa), I was like "I can tolerate the heavy and the screaming, because it's catchy, bouncy and funny". Now I'm like"It's okay for you to 'push it to the limit' but shout it at me HARDER!".😅 You might enjoy EC's Tekkno Train or their version of Cascada's 2006/07 dance hit Everytime We Touch (which itself was based on the 1992 pop rock song by Maggie Reilly). If not done properly, hasrh vocals/ screaming can damage the vocal cords but there are techniques to learn to avoid that.

Thats literally a classical Electric Callboy song. Start with Nico and EDM. Then transition to Kevin and Metal and back and forth (if you watch "We got the moves" you will see it is pretty much like Ratatata). And videos have to be goofy (at least for the fun songs). BM style is really heavy metal with really good clean singing and choreographed dancing of cute girls. Both give you high energy. Whenever you feel down, watch a video/hear a song of them. "Pump it" would be your ultimate gym/workout song. From BM side "Gimme chocolate"/"Road of resistance" will do it too :)

I feel like this is a little different from BabyMetals standard, I feel this is a little less hard and slightly more cutesy, though they do have less hard songs and it’s a typically cutesy concept, this one feels a little tame on their end to me. I would say a few good ones by them to get a better idea of their normal discography, would be Death Legend 1997 or Headbanger, I prefer the MomoBanger version myself, BxMxC has some more rapping in it and PaPaYa has F.Hero Colab, who’s a Thai Rapper. If you go check them out, definitely checkout their live stuff, that’s where they shine, I prefer the lives at either Budakan or PIA Arena.
