Great Reaction!!! 😎👍 Babymetal calls the Mosh Pit: The Mosh'sh Pit! Its a much tamer vers. of the Classic, Original, Violent, Hardcore, Punker// Thrash Metal Moshing Pits with clashing bodies, fists, elbows... I Love Babymetal for creating their own Mosh'sh Pit which is a positive nonviolent (Mostly) thing! Cheers!

Thanks again for the great reactions! It was a great video to see both Yui and Momo.🍅🍑🦊 For some reason, some people criticize the classic BABYMETAL, so I thought your idea of seeing both the old and new BABYMETAL was great. However, the 2023 video is an illegal upload😢See you🤘🦊

It's not that "classic" BABYMETAL is criticized but that RoR 2015 version is already repetitive among reactors so it's nice to have some variation instead of always the same thing over & over again, some of the comparisons btw such versions also don't make much sense.

Ok…the 2015 live version of ROR is the one that sealed my fandom for Babymetal…I guess forever…a natural progression that started with the live compilation for Catch Me If you Can (what the hell is this?!), Gimme Chocolate (ok, this is..I don’t know but I’m intrigued), Karate MV (this is a great song), Karate Live at Download festival 2016 (ok..how big are these girls? And this is a star making performance…”let us hear your voice…put your hand in (the) air)” to Road of Resistance (ehm…she was 16 at the time?! Ok, this is phenomenal…plus it’s now the next day, it’s 7.30 in the morning and I woke up with this chant in my head…I guess I’m fucked… ). It’s a true story 😊

3:50 _"Now Pizza time (Pizza time!)"_ 🦊🤘🍕 Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🔥 Nice to see you with this suggestion to follow your BM journey, just like the 2015 version it was the ender for almost every show at the World Tour 2023/2024 and everyone loved to have fun with this one such recently at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, they just did a fun interview about it and you can see they were excited with Slipknot returns, they were very supportive during early era or Metal Resistance chapter (that's the title inside the lore), also they play this at San Francisco as part of the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok, and btw DragonForce were there playing too, another supportive band since BM beginning career and also involved in the album version of this song as well some live collabs together around those years. "Road Of Resistance" is a power/speed metal song, it's one of their most epic anthem and the album version got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce. It's all about facing your own path without looking back. The first live version you saw was live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, part of the Trilogy Of 2015, by this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment. With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they're performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages. The Kami Band here are magnificent set of elite musicians whom were send to help with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarists). They are: - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums. - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar. - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but his fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP. - Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, he comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father is very famous in Japan music scene. At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to making them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed to X-Japan saying it at live concerts too. The live at PIA Arena MM 2023 in Yokohama doesn't have this usual outro because it was a special live show using another ender song but you can see the differences not only on SuMetal's vocal techniques and her improvements but also the new formation with MomoMetal as well the West Kami Band, members are: Chris Kelly and CJ Masciantonio on guitars, Clint Tustin on bass and Anthony Barone on drums. Next suggestion to meet a SuMetal solo along with a Kami Band intro: - Rondo Of Nightmare with Mischief Of Metal Gods Intro live at Budokan 2014. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Great double reaction.🦊'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy road to follow.🤘🦊

i don't know if there's a japanese equivalent or if the english expression is known at all in japan, but i always relate the song title to the "path of least resistance". this is not that. this is a very intentional not that. they're taking a path less traveled, and they do expect some resistance.

Nice double reaction, thanks! It's funny because I've been thinking a lot about how different the two Kami Bands sound specifically on this song. I'm not a music expert but the Eastern Kamis play canon power/speed metal while the Westerns sounds more like it's metalcore. And, to be honest I kinda like it... although I know its quite unorthodox... but then I remember that I am a die-hard BABYMETAL fan so, I don't mind anymore. 😁

⚡ 💀 💕 🍑 / 🏴 🏴 🏴 "Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) - Pretty much a master class in audience control. BABYMETAL believe that if a song sounds too much like one genre, then it's not a BABYMETAL song. You can definitely feel the speed and power metal in this one though. The first performance was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in January of 2015, with a sold out crowd of over 20,000. Suzuka Nakamoto first appeared at SSA in 2008 as the youngest member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old. It was while she was with that group that BABYMETAL's producer Kei Kobayashi (Kobametal, or Koba) became aware of Su and her "no holds back" style of singing. So he decided to build a metal group around her. : )

Great reaction! Yes the two performances are good in their own way. You may have noticed that in the 2015 performance, Su shouts,"Kakatte koiya-!" which means "Bring it on!". Su only shouts this at meaningful turning points in their career. In this case it was after their Miracle @ Sonisphere" in 2014 where many hardcore metalheads acknowledged BABYMETAL was true metal after numerous negative pushback. BABYMETAL went their way believing in themselves, so this 2015 show was in January of 2015 (the first one in Japan after Sonisphere) and is why she shouted those words. In the 2023 PIA performance, she shouts what she usually shouts, and that is to say HI to the fans in the arena, in this case PIA. Another performance where she shouts "Bring it on" is in December of 2017, which was the first show without YUI, and would have been her 20th birthday celebration with the three of them. But Su and MOA pull it through with a stellar performance. Here for the Road of Resistance she shouts,"Bring it on!" That is the strength of BABYMETAL and is what keeps them going and is why a 76 year old geezer (me) can keep so strong and positive in life. Thank you BABYMETAL! 🦊🦊🦊

Well their armour goes deeper. Those are their costumes. If you see images, when they are not at work the three are pretty much invisible. There is only a small chance that you recognize them and I think this by design. Although they let it slip nowadays. In some of their photos from Las Vegas they wear training Suits. This indicates that they are now under their own control. They always took care to say that this is the new Babymetal.

Thanks for this reaction. My idea why Babymetal has never wanted to have their music to be part of an anime is because Babymetal's music is about the girls, so the message could be diluted. This song applies in general, but also to Babymetal itself, they choose their uncharted path and pushed hard to make it work. The first performance you watched, was the 3rd time ever it was performed, largest Babymetal's "own fans audience" at the time. It was with the Kami band of the East. And since then the song is the 3rd most performed song: 275 times, so far. And this was with the Kami band of the West.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. This anthemic song was played in almost all of BM shows and the audience's reaction is always similar to it in this video at any venue in the world. (I, a 68-year-old Japanese guy, have joined it many times.) At 19:25 in your video, Su shouted "Pia Arena" with friendly smile. Su shouted, however, different words at 08:40 that means "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer as you know now 😄

2 versions of an iconic song. For me the 2015 version is my favourite, not because the 2023 version is in any way bad or that it's Yui rather than Momo, I just like the more frenetic, raw energy and enthusiasm compared to the more polished, 'grown up' presentation. The difference between being teenage and 20 something maybe as well as 8 more years experience refining their craft or perhaps the stage at the PIA Arena wasn't rated to be strong enough to support them jumping up and down pretending to ride horses 😎 What both show is how much they love their fans and how much their fans love them.
