Good reaction. Growls and screams are usually on the backing track, not done by a Kami Band member. It was Yui that left - she was not replaced, there is not a new third member. The Avengers (Kano, Riho and Momoko) were brought in to dance in the third spot from 2019 through 2021 - they were not given a mic, the vocals are all Su and Moa since Yui left - they are BABYMETAL, the Avengers supported them as dancers. The Avenger in this video was Kano - this was her first show with BABYMETAL and she was still only 14 at the time. 'PA PA YA' is a song about a spicy green papaya fruit salad ... but it is also a summer festival song. On top of all that it is about life and how adding and mixing the right spices can make that better and more tasty as well. F Hero was guest vocalist for this song, he is a rapper from Thailand. He flew in to Japan specially for the first two shows of the 2019 tour to guest in this song as it made its world debut. This was filmed at the second night in Yokohama. He was rapping in Thai (no surprise you couldn't understand what he was saying) to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. This was the second night - everybody knew to bring (or buy) a towel to swing round their heads for this song - seeing everybody doing that makes Su and Moa very happy and everybody wants to make them happy. 🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 The similar movable and lifting stage with screens on its top and sides was also used at the Forum, CA on Oct.11, 2019. Su-Metal's "death stare" is famous but the stare at 03:22 in your video is the most evil and lethal one. People stared by it are deemed not excited enough and paralyzed then eliminated from the venue on stretchers, or sometimes in body bags. 😄 I witnessed this song performed in the shows 10 BABYMETAL Budokan concerts last year. When you attend their show someday, you will come to know it is very difficult to keep swinging towel above your head for 4 minutes all along. But I had to do it. Towel or body bag 🤣 F. Hero, the Thai rapper, came all the way to Japan for the world premiere of this song and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge arena in foreign country. As Herbert Chak commented below, Su screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" at the end of this song then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect (although that scene was cut out from this video.) That girls' behavior makes me happy.

loved how Su calls out "Come On F. Hero!".... and even better which you didn't get in the vid, is her thanking F.Hero after the song, bowing to him, and holding the bow even after everyone has straightened back up. Courtesy and respect from our Asian Metal Queen. And if you search online, there's a bunch of cute pictures where Su and Moa were teaching F.Hero's daughter how to do the kitsune hand sign. There's also an interview of F.Hero about his involvement in this song and concert. 🤘🦊🤘

Yeah, they cut the good parts out of the official MV.

I don't know if I remember correctly. Their stage can not only move back and forth, but also up and down. When they perform PA PA YA they usually raise the stage to the highest and spit flames. And the crowd goes crazy every time BabyMetal performs this song!♥️🦊

I really love this version when you can hear the public, hear F.Hero interracting with BM. I don't agree with you when you said "he is not fit in this music", on the contrary FH bring something new, something powerfull. This featuring with a top class.

having in mind what this song is about (the papaya beach resort in thailand) f. hero fits very well into the song - he's the biggest rapper there! they sing about the parties and fun in the resort and he raps about the papaya salad they eat there

Some like it, some don’t. Hella energy though.

I think the F.Hero connection has to do with the theme of the song. PA PA YA is something about papaya salad they had in thailand.. and F.Hero is thailands biggest rapper, so in that sense I guess it fits. It's a fun song, but more pop than metal for me.

The guitar work from Kami band west, during the F Hero rap part when he's not with them live, is my favorite part of the song

F Hero's vocals come off much better on the Official Pa Pa Ya vid, not sure why.

Nice one, thanks! Well, seen! The Avengers don't have mics. Despite they can definitely sing. Only the Fox God Knows why. The crowd "cheated" a little bit because they knew beforehand they needed to bring a towel or some cloth to wave 😁 But it was so awesome and the girls were so happy they did.

⚡ 💕 / 🌶 🌞 If it helps, you can think of the three supporting dancers that were in the third position from 2019-2021 as "Kamis of Dance". All three are decent singers and (IMO) great dancers, but they weren't hired to sing. And since those three rotated, it might have been a little strange to hear different voices at different shows. At any rate, after Yui left Su and Moa decided that they would be the "core of BABYMETAL moving forward". One way to make that distinction clear, is that they are the two on stage that have mics. I think it's very likely that we'll have an entirely new group of supporting dancers when BABYMETAL return to the stage. All three of the 2019-2021 supporting dancers are pursuing careers outside of BABYMETAL.

It was Yui who left - here is Moa with the Mike. Kano did many of the 2019 Japanese concerts before their US Metal Galaxy tour

It's not my favorite BabyMetal song either. But I replayed it many times! I was very excited to see the atmosphere of the crowd waving towels.

Yui is the girl who left because of health reasons (the word is that it was back problems because in her last few concerts before leaving she wore a back brace and many noticed that her face was puffy possibly due to medication side effects) Moa is the one with the headset mic. The 3 Avengers who rotate do not sing because they are not officially part of BabyMetal. Only Suzuka and Moa are equipped for sound. The growling voice in the background is F. Hero (featured performer).

Yeah, I think she tore some discs in her back and the surgery did not fix it enough, so she eventually left. I think Ayami had the same issue.

@@bradkornatowski3866 So, with the only fact at your disposal a back support...Of course this is evidence of a disc problem, a failed surgery, and other dancers have it too. Man, don't ever apply for a job as a detective, you would be laughed off the job.

BxMxC LIVE has Suzuka rapping and in my opinion she could teach American rappers how to do real rap. She throws some bars and her flow is second to none (as they say). Remember LIVE not the MV.
