⚡ 💕 / 🔮 I'm happy to say I was there for this show. The effect with lasers from the far side of the arena "etching" the BABYMETAL logo looked amazing. This was the same day the 'Metal Galaxy' album was released internationally. I bought and downloaded it the night before (October 11th Japan time), and was listening to it on the drive up to L.A. We were also blasting it in the Forum parking lot before the concert.

This is the usual intro and opener before DA DA DANCE at live concerts just like in the 3rd album Metal Galaxy, it belongs to the Light Side while the Dark Side the intro is "In The Name Of" followed by Distortion, you already saw. If you pay attention you'll hear they're saying "This ain't heavy metal, welcome to the world of BabyMetal", that is probably a reference to "BMTH - Heavy Metal" song as well portraying their own unique sound. It's been a while since someone reacted to the full clip with SuMetal narrating the intro. MoaMetal also narrated intros during Legend M 2019. And yea, that's the new BM spaceship to symbolize they're traveling around the world, you already know about KobaMetal being a Star Wars fan and using some imagery on live concerts.🌎 Also you heard a famous SuMetal's mantra we like to repeat when reactors say they don't understand BM lyrics or are trying so hard to focus on it: _"Don't think, feel."_ which is also a Bruce Lee's quote. Keep traveling the BabyMetal Galaxy. Kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥

Rember watching this live early hours of morning in bed around 3am . I was so hyped afterwards that i got up and had some coffee and toast and stayed up all day 😁. The doomsayers said it was over in 2018 for BabyMetal , but the faithful where rewarded this opening gave me goosebumps . Again, 2021, they said it's over . Two great songs already in 2022 and have three more to come in 2023 and an album Two shows in Japan ànd the European tour . What more is to come OTFGK 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

First time I saw this, it gave me chills and pumped me up so much. Seeing the girls "form" and hearing the crowd roar each time was just awesome. 🤘🦊🤘

This is more of an overture, introducing the band before all the batshit crazy stuff of a BABYMETAL show is unleashed. It’s not a piece that’s hugely loved by the fans but I think it does it’s job very well.

My comment has disappeared (several times). 'Don't think. Feel' as well as being a Bruce Lee quote was what Su-metal said when they were first exploring metal - when they saw Metallica for the first time she realised you don't just listen to metal to understand it, it actually goes right through you. The lyric 'This aint Heavy Metal. Wecome to the world of BABYMETAL' may be a tonngue in cheek response to the critics accusing them of not being 'Real Metal'.

Some people don't seem to like the intro songs because they're just scene setters and don't have any singing or choreo, but I like them. They set the mood for the songs that follow and I think they're an important part of the albums and especially for the live shows.

Thanks for doing this reaction. Babymetal has Rammstein level of production. Maybe even more in some ways. 8:43 such a cool moment, the sound is part of the song, but the way they integrated it with the logo is just amazing. I'm not a 100% into the lore, but Babymetal traveling by flying in something is a common theme. I don't think it's directly connected to The One performance in the live MV.

Nice one, thanks! Probably my least favorite track of the entire BABYMETAL discography. Actually, it hasn't even been played live as this has always been played from a recorded source in concerts. I take away Su's famous quote: "Don't think, feel". 😁

Yeah, definitely has an "intro only" feel to it. I love that quote!

No guitar on this track - you don't get that on many metal albums. In the anime Evangelion, the 5th angel Ramiel is shown as a large octahedron. I've seen similar shapes in other MVs too, e.g. sora tob sakana (idol meets math rock if you ever want to try something a bit different), so I'm not sure if they're all references to the anime or people just like octahedra. That video sequence is really quite impressive in a small venue when the screen fills your entire field of vision.
