I want next season to have 365 episodes.

From the very first episode on, I want them to get together!!! I mean, ok, Helga is all right but come on! It is so heartbreaking to see how Lotte cares for Gereon, opens up to him in a deeper way than she normally does. There is this one moment in the last episode, when she and Helga have the same vision of Gereon dying, which proves, that she does actually feel something for him. I hope so much, they'll end up together. Though, there is probably not going to be a happy ending but anyways...

I wish they get together on season 3 :)

Me too, but if they're staying true at all to Gereon and Charlotte's relationship in the novel's story arc, they're on again, off again. In The Silent Death book, they become a lot closer but nothing serious unfolds. Rath is basically single in TSD but he's totally in love with Lotte and he's the only one keeping himself from being with her. However, so far in the literary series, his secret romance with his sister-in-law does not show up. There is absolutely no mention of Anno being married. Anno is only briefly mentioned a couple times and his character is completely insignificant.

They probably are. It happens in the books. Even though the show has already deviated considerably from the source material, I still believe they'll stick to it in this case. Although, I'm somewhat glad it didn't happen in season 1 or 2, otherwise it would've seemed rushed. But yeah, hopefully they do get together in season 3.

@@moisetalbert2123 fortunately Gereon got rid of Helga, that's a step in the right direction. So I am hopeful that in Season 4 he will get closer to Charlotte :)

This show is so amazing. I have not been obsessed with a television series on Netflix until now. I first saw Volker Bruch in Generation War and that’s why I have been drawn to this. Generation War is one of the greatest mini series ever made it’s phenomenal. ❤️❤️❤️

I've waited for a video of them for so long! Thank you so much for this! I love it, it's amazing, well edited and the song is beautiful. That underwater scene was so heartbreaking, I cried with Gereon. Love them so much!

I tried reading the first book after watching all of the TV show and it was a mistake. So different! Gereon is not a veteran, he does not have PTSD, he is not taking drugs, and he is not searching for an incriminating film. Charlotte is already a steno in the murder squad. They meet and have a date and fall into bed very quickly. She is not living with her family but with Greta. And the whole story about the train and gold and Sorokin is told from Gereon's point of view, so the reader learns things as he does. Some things are the same. Bruno is there, but is called Uncle and everyone likes him. Gereon does sleep with his land lady once and after she tries desperately to get him back into bed. The May 1 shootings are less violent, with fewer victims. The woman doctor and CP leader is a man. Oh well. I'll keep reading, see how it turns out.

Naughty Lotte such a loveable rogue. It’s so wrong they’re not together. So much more than Cabaret. This deserves so many awards. I loved it.

I love this show sooo much! I’m glad your video popped up in my KZread recommendations, it’s great. The song is perfect. I love Lisa Liv Fries and I do want them to get together eventually. I’m so glad there’s a Season 4, for now I’ll just watch the 1st 3 again. :)

It would be nice to have more Charlotte Ritters in this world. xxx

I am so in love with her. It's hard to grasp by a non-German speaker, but to me, someone who is also from Berlin, her Berliner accent is so incredibly charming.

The English language dubbing was so bad I finally called up the cc text and let the sound play out in German. Much better that way. Otherwise, fantastic.

Season 4 will be released on 8th October 2022 so I hope you had time to watch the 3 seasons before it.

When Greta jokes with Charlotte about she's going for three men on Charlotte describes Stephan as "a gusher" and laughs- at least that's the term the English subtitle used. Would that be a proper translation of the German? If so, what does it mean to call someone a gusher?

@@goomah8057 Yes, I finally some news about it. Filming resumed last month and is expected to wrap up in June. The season premiere can be expected NEXT autumn! And that is only for Germany or Europe! If the series follows the same timetable as season 1 and 2, it won't be available in the United States until January. January 2020!!! That's unheard of in television for a successful show. Lengthy waits are common when a tenured show is picked up by another channel after their original provider drops them. I know it will be worth the wait but it just makes me nervous about the longevity of the series! The writers and directors want to continue the show all the way through to the conclusion of the literary series and the author Kutscher hasn't even finished writing them yet! I hope the lapses in between each season doesn't cause interest in the show to wane.
