To change directions, the little slider on top, closest to the barrel, is the switch for directions. The bottom is alternate, middle left, and the top is right. I just keep mine on alternate all the time.

It looks awesome, I prefer the wavy/curly look as well, and you look stunning! Keep it up :)

It's beautiful. By the way, I love your former vdo. You tried it the first time. I think many people got it wrong when they try something for the first time unless they are the beauty pro. Like you, I got frustrated with new tools. Bought it, tried it a few times, annoyed with the process or results and never used the tools again. This one looks easy enough though. Perhaps I should try. Don't worry with the comments. I like it the way you do it. I can relate. I can never do it like the best instructional vdos do it.
