my very first thought!
Shut the front door! Charlotte is a year already??? Where did the year go?
You deserve a HUGE pat on the back for making it that long breastfeeding!!! I breastfed all three of mine to over a year and one is super healthy and two get sick all the time. She probably doesn't get sick because she doesn't go to daycare.
Thank you for updating us, even with the more "negative" information. I am glad Charlotte is doing so well with her physical therapy! I wish you all the luck with a future pregnancy and on your Disney trip too.
I hate how some moms will shame others! All of our children are different and unique and it's not fair to compare them. Child rearing is not a competition. Jenn, I like your positive attitude!
My goodness! Those rosey cheeks are amazing! She is growing by leaps and bounds. Motherhood suits you well Jen! Enjoy every minute friend! Babies are awesome!
Little Charlotte is absolutely adorable. Sounds like you already know that each child is unique and whatever you're doing is just right for Charlotte. Bless your precious family.
Charlotte is really growing fast. She's so adorable. Brings back so many memories of when my son was little and all those things that parents go through. Just listen to your own intuition and follow your doctor's advice. Don't listen to people who don't even know you. They don't know your experience and no one has any business telling you how to raise your child anyway. Bless you and your family. xx
motherhood suits you ! i have watched you for a few years now and you have blossomed as a mother ! its been a beautiful process watching you bloom along with your daughter !
I've enjoyed your videos for years, but rarely comment. First of all, Charlotte is an absolute beauty. What color blush does she use on those cheeks? Lolololol. My reason for commenting is to tell you my grandson was diagnosed with a mild case of Hypotonia when he was a little over a yr old. Some of their symptoms are very similar (he would not crawl, he would not pull up, and he hated standing, etc) although this message is not to suggest in anyway their diagnosis is similar. The pediatrician kept saying he was 'in the range' but we thought otherwise. My daughter had him evaluated and he started physical therapy and there was instant progress made. He did that for about six months. Later he had a few months of speech therapy, and he also ended up having some occupational therapy. Each time he improved by leaps and bounds. My point being, he is now 6 yrs old and you would never know he had had any issues!!! You are so wise to be proactive and give her the help and support she needs. Love you Jen. You are an amazing mom :)

BooojahKITTY would love a packing video!!!! Please consider this Jen!!!!!
She is precious, alert and active! Easy to see she is completely normal baby! People need to realize: Babies do things at different times and a competition on who walks first, eats solids first, potty trains first, sings ABC song first, etc, is just CRAZINESS!! As a peds RN, I get so frustrated about the entire milestone obsessed Moms and trying to potty train (for example) WAY too early, because their neighbors cousins nephew was potty trained at 18 months... ugggh!! I'm so glad you dont pay all that any mind!! Charlotte will do things when Charlotte is ready and you guys are doing everything perfectly to encourage and support her to do them!! I adore your parenting style as a new Mommy! If all Mommies were like you our job would be SO much easier! Its clear this sweet pink cheek baby girl is your world!!
She's a doll and you are such a good mommy. I have a 23 old month baby girl when I was pregnant with her I would stay in bed and watch all your videos that was my time to relax and take my mind of all the complications I had in my pregnancy. Best of luck, wish your dreams of another child become once again a reality.
I watched the whole thing and always do. The love that a mother has for their children is like no other love.
I love how in your pregnancy announcement you said "my heart has longed for this" and in this video you describe Charlotte as filling your heart. What a beautiful tribute to your daughter. It's obvious that you're a wonderful mama and your love for Charlotte shines through you.
In the 5+ years I've watched your videos I have never seen you so happy. Being a mother has given you such an amazing amount of confidence! Thank you for your honesty and kindness. -from a long time viewer
My daughter was a notorious food/plate thrower. I was forever cleaning yogurt off the wall. I never found a particular thing that helped, she just kind of grew out of it. ❤ Thank you for continuing to post for all of us and being so honest about your motherhood journey. I know that's probably not easy all the time. ❤
Charlotte is so adorable!! My babies are 29 and 30 lol. My son (oldest) started walking at 9 months and my daughter didn't walk until she was almost 15 months. When I voiced my concern with my pediatrician at the time he said "She's fine, she'll walk when she's ready" and she did =).
She's so sweet. I think she looks a lot like daddy😊
I am so proud of you as a mama that you are willing to step past your pride and get CC the help she needs and giving her the tools to be as successful as she can be! As a mom of two I know it's hard to ask for help w your kiddos but it truly will be so beneficial for her😊 She is absolutely precious. Before you know it she will be talking your ear off and running so fast all over the place!
My daughter is 33 now and she's the love of my life . Your little Charlotte is beautiful and lucky to have you and Don as parents.
Forget the haters and please go back to vlogging!
My daughter didn't walk until 15 months, and even after that she was extremely cautious. She is happy and also loves books like Charlotte. I'm sure she is doing great! Charlotte is so cute.
i came to your chanel through winnies. i dont have any kids and may never have any, but i still look forward to your videos. you are genuinely a great person and we see that through your content and vlogs. :O)
Jen, Charlotte is a beautiful mix of you & Don both!!! I am a mother so I totally understand happy tears. I can't even explain how I don't know you, yet I know you are the best mother ever!!! I am praying for your next pregnancy, as well as for Charlotte & her physical therapy. I hope you all have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World. You are doing everything right. Never doubt yourself. I wish more parents were like you & Don. Blessings!!!
My boys are 3 years apart and have always been the best of friends. Good luck on conceiving. Being a parent is one of the most amazing blessings in life.
Her cuteness is in epic proportions. She is both you and Don. Sooo adorable!
You are so brave to talk about your fertility issues. I'm not TTC and won't be for a while but this open dialogue that you've created has been so informative. I never realized how long of a journey this is for some women, so I've actually stopped asking people when they're going to have kids, etc. I wasn't trying to be rude but now I understand how painful that question can be to some women. Anyway so glad to see Charlotte and best of luck to you in 2017. :)
Charlotte is so lucky to have you as her mama! I wish all children could be as loved as she is!
I have several friends whose babies didn't walk until 15/16 months - totally normal! As far as the plate/utensil/food throwing, it's abnormal phase. I remember my 3 year old going through it and now my 14 month old is doing it. Just keep reinforcing that food is meant to stay on the table and it'll pass. For whatever reason babies go through a phase where they like to throw or drop things. You're a great mom!! Keep it up :)

That should be "a normal phase" not abnormal. Lol!
Jen, Charlotte is so very special and to hear you speak about her with such love is just so special, words are not enough sometimes, much love to you and your family xx
I was grinning ear to ear watching this. She is so adorable I can't even stand it.
My husband thinks she's the cutest baby - and he never says that! Love that you're continuing to share this journey with us.
I got weepy through this video! i'm a momma of a 6 month old and it's so so amazing to see how much they change every minute but it's also crazy how fast the grow up. Charlotte is absolutely beautiful and such a sweetheart! Enjoy every moment Jen!
Oh Jen! She is wonderful.. your love for being a mom is so contagious. It has been a pleasure to watch you on this journey.. the best is yet to come :)
Made it all the way to the end. And I also got teary eyed! I can feel the love you have for Charlotte radiate through my screen ❤️
Thanks for sharing, Jen. She's so adorable! God bless her and the whole family. Hugs from Brazil
You light up so much when you talk about Charlotte it's really beautiful to see.
Thanks for the great video Jen! I just love watching your videos. You're such a beautiful person and Charlotte is so blessed to have you! I pray your journey to baby # 2 is quick and easy!
She's utterly precious Jen! You're the best mom and she's so lucky to have you.
You are such a great mom. It has been a joy to watch you become a mom and to watch Charlotte grow. It makes me so happy to watch you talk about your sweet girl and see your pure love for her written on your face. I love this video and can't wait for the next update.
My 36 year old daughter is still my light and I am so proud of her (like your mom is). I did not have a clue I would love her more every day and at 36 she takes my breath away when I get to see her. We all understand that mother love😍
Thank you for sharing Jen. Charlotte is just adorable. My daughter is 22 yrs old. She has multiple issues including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, developmental delays, etc. she did not walk until she was 7 years old. She is still non-verbal, wears pull ups etc. I still have to do many, many things for her. She has had, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, music therapy and pool therapy. She is my everything. She communicates with actions and attitude. She is such a sweetie. I guess I am trying to say, she is her own person. She is my sweet mystery. I can't picture her any other way. I love her as she is. Out of all the people in the world, Gold chose me to be the Mom of this amazing young girl. I wish you nothing but the best in your journey with this precious little girl. You are on the right path with Charlotte's well being and that is all that matters. Much continued success for you and Charlotte. Nothing but love for all of you.
I always enjoy your baby updates. I don't blame you for holding on to the baby phase as long as she allows you. 😊💛
The love only grows more and more! She's a babydoll, God bless her !
Length is perfect! I admire you very much! I've been a loyal follower for the last 6 years! Thank you for being you! And thank you for sharing!
Beautiful video. my son is turning 13 years old next month and I still feel this way. he makes me a better person
I can't get over how much she looks just like Don! Absolutely beautiful.
Charlotte is very photogenic. She's beautiful
What a sweet video-you were making me tear up. There is nothing like a mama's love. She is adorable and perfect!
I know you feel so lucky to have Charlotte, but she's so blessed to have you as her mother and Don as her father. I'm so happy for all of you and thank you for sharing this! Best wishes always!
What a wonderful video that you've documented for little Charlotte to see someday when she's older! She is darling and looks like both you and Don! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for posting this video and talking about weaning! I'm going through it right now and it is totally bittersweet. Moments of being relieved and happy and then moments of sadness because my baby isn't a baby anymore. It's comforting to know I'm not alone. Thank you for sharing your mom journey.
Loved this video Jen! I've been following you for so long and I adore the person you are. Can't believe Charlotte is one year old already!
oh, Jen, this video was wonderful. I enjoy watching these glimpses into your life. What a loving little family you have! Charlotte is one very lucky little girl.
I'm so happy for you! I know exactly how you feel about being a mom. I feel so lucky every day for my 2 beautiful daughters. During those long years when I longed to be a mother, I did not realize that I was waiting for a reason - they were so worth the wait!!!! Charlotte is just beautiful!!!
I am so excited to sit down and watch this! Charlotte is such a sweet girl and I can't wait until you're able to welcome more sweet babies into your family
Crying with you!
I totally agree....she is the best thing that has ever happened to you. You seem so happy! She is just beautiful, I see so much of both of you in her! So happy for you two!
Thank you very much for this very intimate video. Charlotte is such a cutie. I got teary as well when you were talking about how she is everything to you.
You are a fabulous mother, Jen! No one knows their children better than the mother. You are doing everything that you feel is best for Charlotte. Every child is so different. I see that between my two children (3 yrs old and 15 months). My son weened himself at 14 months old. My daughter is 15 months old now and hasn't shown interest in weening. My struggle is, like you said following their cues, I would like to ween but she doesn't want to. So that is my little conflict within myself. My son was walking at 11 months old and my daughter not until 14 months. They all do things at their own time and own pace. Keep enjoying this precious moments with Charlotte. Parenthood is a wonderful and amazing adventure.
Charlotte will always be your baby, mine are 19 & 21 but at the same time they grow up super fast, kind of in the blink of an eye. You certainly seem to be cherishing the moments so good for you, very wise. I've been following you for years so this was really fun to watch. I hope God blesses you with another baby👶💕
She's beautiful just like mommy and daddy. I cannot believe she's already 1 years old. how time flies so fast. it's fun as they get older when they start talking and how they see they world. Sending you hugs
Oh I just love seeing little Charlotte! She is just beautiful and such a wonderful combination of you two! It's just such a joy watching you as a Mommy and how happy you are!! So happy I found your channel years ago and that you've shared your journey with us over the years ☺️💓
Jen, your vlogs could never, ever, be too long. We so enjoy hearing from you. Have fun at Disney !
It's been so fun watching you settle into being a Mommy. You're doing such a great job. Charlotte is a lucky girl!
She's beautiful and your love for her is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
She'll walk when she's ready. She's an adorable little girl.
Charlotte is beautiful! One year is such a fun age, so many changes and milestones. My daughter was 14 months old when she took her first steps, and was starting to walk a bit on her own at 15 months. Literally no one was concerned! Charlotte will get there in her own time, and if she doesn't then you will get her the interventions she needs to do it. Glad you don't take the negative comments to heart.
CC is beautiful! She looks like such a little gem. It's wonderful to see somebody cherish their chance to be a parent as not everybody gets that chance. Enjoy your beautiful girl Jen and good luck with the future plans to expand your family.
Since first watching your vlogs years ago, I knew you would be great mother.. and I'm right you're an amazing mother Jen! I've loved watching your journey into parenthood, you encourage me in many ways😊 thanks for sharing love from New Zealand 👍🏼
Thanks for the update Jen! Charlotte is a doll. My now 5-yo didn't walk until she was 15/16 months old and I remember being so worried but they DO all get there in their own time. You're a wonderful Mum xx 👍❤️
Shes adorable! Looks like a little doll baby. Thanks for sharing! BTW your hair is super long now. Looks pretty!
Charlotte is a blessing to you and she is blessed to have such loving parents!
aw you made me weepy at the end. It's so moving seeing you overwhelmed with love and emotion for your child ♡♡♡
Thanks for sharing Jen! Your baby updates have been so helpful to me as a new mom! Best of luck with trying for #2!
I am many years away from having kids but this video was just so sweet. It is obvious that you enjoy being a mom! So happy for you.
My middle daughter crawled at 16 months and walked at 19 months. She's a competitive dancer at 13 years ;) all in their own sweet time!
Charlotte is simply beautiful! Really enjoy your videos. They are never too long!
I'm incredibly happy to see sweet Charlotte.. I'm so glad I got to see her and Jenny, you're such an incredible Mommy!
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. As a momma to two daughters, I relate to most if not all of your content, thoughts and wishes. You truly are a delight to watch. Thank you for sharing your life. Wish you nothing but happiness.😊
All 3 of my boys walked at different ages. My oldest walked at 9 months, my middle son at 15 months, and my 3rd son at 12 months. They all developed at their own pace and are all different as night and day. Love that about them. No reason to worry at all. There are a lot of crazy people on the internet. My parents were literally being stalked by a person who said that they knew them. She got got their address somehow, was sending them gifts, and trying to friend family members. It was really crazy. They ended up leaving Facebook altogether. Charlotte is such a cutie 😊 Thank you for sharing with us.
I am so proud of you Jennifer! You can see the love you have for your daughter! I love watching your updates and it means a lot to me you share your life with us. I do not have children but love seeing you care for your daughter as she gets older. You are doing great and CC will walk when she is ready. She is a precious baby!😀
Charlotte is beautiful - thanks for sharing with us! You have such a beautiful spirit. I'm so glad you're on KZread!
I've followed you since before you were pregnant with Charlotte and when you were MyHouseWifeLife. 💜 it is so sweet to see you as a mother and how happy little CC make you. It shows in your expressions! Thanks for the update. She is growing so quickly.
You really are inspirational, I like your positivity and the way you put one hundred percent into all you do. Charlotte is bright eyed and beautiful! You really are great Jen, I look up to you!
Don't apologize for the long video!! I love them!
Jen! Ive been watching you for all year long! I have a son that is just a month or so younger than your daughter and so I have loved watching your baby favourite videos - they always give me the best ideas! Thanks so much for sharing this "real" update. My son is almost 13 months, and while making almost all of his other milestones, isn't crawling or bearing much weight in his legs. He has started doing a lot more gross motor movements this past month though. I can't tell you how nice it is to hear from other moms who are going through similar things. I am a developmental psychologist and can't tell you how many times I have had to remind myself that no two babies are the same and that milestones are just guidelines and ranges. And I agree with you, our babies are still babies until at least they start walking and talking! Take care!
your daughter is absolutely precious. Thank you for sharing her with us.
This video just warmed my heart :) She's an absolute doll! Congratulations on raising such a beautiful, smart bubba You're the wife and momma I aspire to be. Can't wait to see her grow as the year passes x
Thanks for such a heartfelt update!! What a beautiful family you have.
So happy for you! CC is so cute! Love watching her grow, thank you for sharing.
You are such a great mum. Charlotte is so sweet. You can tell how loved she is 😊
I've so enjoyed watching your mommy vlogs, you're truly in your element as Charlotte's mommy! ❤️
I just have to say: jen, you are amazing! ive been watching your videos since the beginning and i feel like youre a friend. Lots of love
I'm so happy for you Jen! Your baby girl is so beautiful and she is so lucky to have you and Don as her parents! This video was so touching! Feels like the back in the day tea time with Jen videos! I know exactly how you feel I get emotional talking about my children! Thank you for sharing her with us! I love seeing her! Missing your snaps!
