Update on Buttercup Week #2. Introducing Buttercup to try her first solids today. Every 3-4 hrs she gets a serving of her food. Tonight her best serving was of her trying a mixture of 'squirrel designed' formula with added mushy unsalted sunflower seeds. I used a mortar & pestle and ground them really small. I then added them to her formula and & gently mixed it with a repurposed plastic fork. I also use a soft bristle baby brush, and a repurposed toothbrush, both dipped in warm water, to softly clean her cheeks and top of her head. I use my fingers to gentle massage her paws clean. She is starting to potty on her own and I had to wash her bedding a few times. My goal is to see if she will like mushy unsalted pumpkin seeds next. Keep growing Buttercup, We Love you.
