The replica train you traveled on was wonderful, with all the model trains on board. That museum was fantastic too. That nostalgic happy feeling you get when you see things from your youth is surprisingly comforting.

What a amazing and lovingly designed train, with nice blue interieur, the technical drawings on the floor and the display case with the model trains. And there is even a mailbox in the train! It's so cool! Love it! 🤩 Thanks so much, that you made this trip and shared it with us.

That Kaiyodo Museum is super cool. I've never been to Ehime (or even Shikoku, for that matter) but it's definitely on my list now.

That model museum looks like such a time capsule. And such a fun place it would be to visit.

I saw a model of Rodan in the museum. That was the very first Japanese Giant Monster film that I saw in a theater as a kid, perhaps 65 years ago. I would buy it in a second!😆 Godzilla (Gojira) was the second. I would buy that one too.🤣 Thank you for today's unusual video, Itsuka-san.💚

So much fun! I would spent every bit of my money at the museum shop and wouldn't have enough to visit anywhere else in Japan! I love the Series 0 Shinkansen design (I'll confess, I have a working four-unit Series 0 model with track, and also models of one or two of the others in the on-board display case). And you're right -- who doesn't love Godzilla?

珍幹線というイメージで可愛い車両ですね、そういえばバイクで宇和島駅前にいったとき ナローの蒸気も展示されてました、鉄道を大切にしている町ですね。

Again a very nice trip. There is also a kind of museum in my city, but mainly with Star Wars figures. Nice that you always specify the prices in dollars, then I do not always have to convert. :)

For a train that barely gets used it’s in very good shape. This why I love Japanese work ethics culture. Mass transit that are not well used that are not discontinued in US are literally garbage cans on 4 wheels. 😔

What a cool trip!

Does look like the emergency pull cords that were used here in New York on cars built before 1999. We switched to a handle system that instead, if one of the passengers pulls it, two things happen depending on where the train is. If the train is still within the station, the brakes activate. If the train has travelled beyond the station, it will caused the train to only go into emergency when the train gets to the next stop and the doors open. Only the train crew has the ability to stop the train instantly at all times.

I'm watching this in the Netherlands. Never seen things like that overhere. Nice vid.

What a great trip, and yeah another unique train. Underpopulated area makes car sales increased, sounds logical because Underpopulated area caused low ridership, low ridership caused public transportation is deserted and running out of money. Subsidies isn't good option for this case, and that's why people in Underpopulated area having own vehicle (in this case car). Anyway, great museum, bit sad when i read the subtitle said this museum previously are former School, Japan's population is declining rapidly, especially in little town like this. Ah yes you met other trip reporter in this video as action figure

予土線は私達のガキの頃はえかわさきが終点でした。四万十川の沈下橋も近くよくいつていました。

This information board in the trains and buses really baffles me. What does it say? Like in the bus to the museum (09:23) it says: 0: nothing, 1:400, 2:400, 3:350, 4:250, 5:150, 6:120, 7:120. It never made any sense to me. Can anyone explain?
