高千穂鉄道っていつの間にか廃止されていたんですね。でも、有志が将来の完全復活を目標に一部区間を買い取ってミニ遊覧鉄道として営業しているのにほっこりしました。 現在、日本ではトラック運転手のなり手がいないために将来物流が滞るかもしれないと言われています。それを防ぐためにも今ある鉄道を可能な限り残して貨物列車を走らせることでトラックの走る距離を短くできればいいな。と当方は考えているので高千穂鉄道の完全復活にも期待しています。

Japan has many small refurbished railroads like this that serve tourists. I would love to travel from Australia to Japan one day to see them, But I would have difficulty learning to speak Japanese.
