My brother did not say a word to announce their first child. He just showed up at home with a shirt that said: not fat, just sympathy pregnant. It took like 4 hours for anyone to notice his shirt😂

My older brother and his wife did something symilar. They made his 2 year old son wear a t-shirt with "big brother" on it. Me and my sister where the first to noticed the shirt. If we did not told our mom to look at his shirt she would have never noticed

when my eldest sister revealed she was pregnant, she came over to visit, and then when we'd all sat down and talked for a bit, she said "i brought champagne by the way!" and poured everyone a glass - and then said "but i'll be having juice." there was this moment of silence and then my mom got it and was so happy. it was very cute.

When shaaba does a baby reveal, it better be the most extravagant, complicated reveal EVER! We're talking costumes, characters and multiple stages.

My daughter and son-in-law did "Mom and Dad are getting us a human." with a pic of their adorable Pugs. Their adorable son is now 10 months old.

Aight, I'm might need to have a cat at some point right around before having a kid in the future.

When I announced my first pregnancy. I took a photo of my dogs with some signs in front of them saying "I'm going to be a big sister" and "I get to be a big brother again". Many people thought I was announcing that we were getting another dog.

I love playing the Sims, and my husband is a big gamer of a variety of games, so for our pregnancy announcement he had a tshirt that had a gaming controller that said 'Ready Player 1' and I had a tshirt that said 'Ready Player 2' at the top and 'Player 3 Loading' on my stomach. We took off our hoodies and waited for family members to read the tshirts :D We now have a 6 month old, and this is the first chance I've had to catch up on KZread XD

Some of my favorite are (tagged as) lesbian baby announcements I’ve seen on Pinterest. Like one holds a sign saying “I’m pregnant” and the other has a sign that says “I’m not the father”, or the one that says “my bun, her oven”...they’re super cute

My friends didn’t think that they wanted a kid and had a little girl. They thought that it wasn’t too bad so they tried for another. Without drugs they had triplets. One girl and two identical boys. They were definitely outnumbered.

When my mom found out she was having my brother, she made dinner all tiny foods and served them it saucers instead of plates and at first my dad was like "is this a joke or are you mad at me or what" and she's like "look at your plate! you have baby carrots and baby potatoes and..." my dad straight up fell out of his chair lol we have it on video somewhere

Two noses… kid noses are always doing something horrific.

The reaction to a potentially positive pregnancy test resonates with me, after having to take a pregnancy test every 3 months while I was on the implant, regardless of what I'd been up to. Just three minutes of staring at a little stick, mentally going through every unlikely pregnancy story, including the New Testament.

When I announced to my (now ex)husband , at his workplace, that I was pregnant he ran around the whole building telling everyone. 12 weeks later I called in at the factory offices again after my scan and had to announce to him we were, in fact, having twins. This time his reaction was very different. The colour drained from his face and he actually passed out on his desk. He came round after a couple of minutes and asked me to repeat what I had told him. I did, and he promptly passed out again. Twit!

This came up in my recommended just randomly, and now I'm flashing back to just before my son was born... 22 flippin years ago, oh mi gawd!! I'm so proud of him, he's such a wonderful person!

As a mum I died laughing at this! Babies aren’t that bad, toddlers are hell. They hit, kick and bite and don’t sleep and eat their own poo. You can be the best mum ever, it’ll all still happen. Get used to the same programme on repeat, every day. As for pregnancy tests, clear blue ones are generally crosses with blue dye, pink dye with two lines are most other brands and pink dye seems much more reliable for not getting false positives (it took a long time and a lot of trying to have my son!). Kids are worth it but you will both lose your minds at points. You cram your whole life into 2 hours in the evenings and they are incredibly expensive. But when all the screaming, following you everywhere and breaking things calms, those cuddles are the best thing bed you’ll ever have. You think you love each other and I’m nit saying you don’t, but wait until you experience the love you have for a child. It really does swallow you up and physically hurts, there just isn’t a love like it. ❤️

I don’t think most kids eat their own poo. Mine didn’t. Also I find toddlers are much easier to deal with than babies. They can talk and reason. Babies are a guessing game.

In some ways, twins can be easier. They're always at the same stage. You dont have to worry about an older child playing with small toys that a younger one could eat. 2 in diapers was easy. Potty training 2 was awful for a while. When they're really young, they have the same biomes going on in their greedy mouths. We had to color code the bottles so we knew who had eaten what. In the baby food you only need one spoon. Later it was 3 spoons, one for everybody. Those little rugrats just turned 18 on me.

In the U.S. baking ingredients are measured by cups. And some liquids are measures in squirts or pumps. That's what they're trying to say. It's still bad, but it's not as bad as you think. They're not talking about sex. They just didn't think that one all the way through.

No, it’s definitely about sperm. I’ve literally never seen a recipe measured by pumps of anything in the US.

random: i recently read/heard (not sure which) that it is actually GOOD for kids to get 'tossed around' a bit (in a safe, playfull, manner where they can't be hurt) like yeeting them into a pool etc because it helps the brain learn where the body is in relations ship to the outside world aka sense of balance etc

Absolutely! Rough play is great for proprioception (not sure if it is spelled correctly) sense. Learning where your body is in space.

I love the ones where they take a group photo and just before they click the shutter, someone shouts "She's pregnant" and the first reactions are registered. Hilarious!

Here’s some of the baby reveals I’ve seen: 1. My niece! Me and my siblings got shirts! Mine said “auntie shark”. I looked at it and was kinda confused at first. Then i was thinking “waiiitttt” I looked at my sister, she smiled. And I started tearing up. My sister was just as excited and my brother obviously got an “uncle shark” shirt. My niece is now 1 years old and is doing really well!! :D 2. Friends There was a family at my school that we were kind of friends with and they were expecting a baby. And how they revealed it on social media is they already had four kids. Two girls and two boys. They had them do a tug-of-war and underneath the picture it said “who will win?” I was really excited for them. The baby would’ve been a girl but sadly she was a miscarriage. Her name would’ve also been willow and now they planted a willow tree in their yard for her. So sad to hear about it... Also another story is that the dad of Willow was my social studies teacher last year and he told us a story about after they found out It was a miscarriage he had to do conferences and one of the parents came in and asked “how are you doing?” The parent thought that he would say “good”. But he was honest and said “bad”. The parent was surprised by his response. I think that just shows how normal it is for someone to say good when we ask how they are doing.

@@crazyowlgirlcncowner my mom said she didn´t wanted to have just one kid because she was an only child and she din´t enjoy it, so she originally planned tree, but because of the twin surprise we ended up bein five. i hope that when your brother gets older the feeling of being stuck with him goes away.

...and then you are even funnier! Jamie's reaction to the dog getting a human! Shaba's Wednesday Adam's knife sharpening cat to get rid of the baby, and dog's tea parties. So funny, I love it! On cats in nappies...my parent group , tried out our slings. HALF had babies and did baby shoots, half had babies still cooking...so found their cats and we had 4 cat sling photos!

Your interactions in this video were really adorable, you lifted my spirits immensely!

When my youngest nephew was two, I was holding him upside down over my shoulder by his ankles at his request. He asked me to walk around to the front yard to show Grandma. I stepped in a hole and down we both went. We were bruised, but fine. That was the end of holding him like that though.

I have scars on my feet from an ATV accident. My toddler cousin and I were on a trailer my brother was driving with his ATV and we hit a bump. I formed a crash cage around my cousin and took all the damage for her. There wouldn't have been much damage but my dumb butt was wearing sandals... X_X

When I was working at a bakery, someone came in and ordered mini cinnamon buns for her coworkers and had us write on the box something along the line of there being a bun in the oven

as a babe I used our cat as a pillow (when I was old enough to pick my sleeping spot) previously he would pick a high ground under three feet away and fend off any threat... after purring me to sleep
