I want 1000% believe that she left as many voicemails as he claimed. And the reason I believe this is because how was the actress able to mimic everything about This Woman's speech so accurately without ever haven't heard her voice? Everything from her tone, her accent, her mannerisms, and the way she mispronounces things was perfectly spot on. He literally said he made this intentionally obscured so no one could identify her. His own explanation implies that Martha was a culmination of types of interactions he had, likely with multiple people. It was very clear when he put the show out. First of all, the fact that people went and found her was completely disrespectful of Gadds own words and wishes he put on the show. He did not want this. Shame on everyone that went and found her. This is bad for everyone, including Gadd. This man was trying to speak his truth creatively and there's no telling who all Martha's character was actually referencing. Secondly, this also does not help her case either, but what did you all expect from a mentally ill woman??

I read an article that a journalist from The Daily Mail, interviewed and met with her in person. It went fine, there were no issues until after the interview. She started harassing him with calls and emails and such, and he said he was to use it being a journalist. She sounds just like Martha from the show. His kids have started calling this journalist Daddy Reindeer or Papa Reindeer. This woman is insane!

I agree… this is Piers Morgan taking advantage of somebody who isn’t the full shilling… it’s also her taking advantage of a potential source of income if she sues… although it probably won’t work out for her as it wouldn’t have been defamatory if she didn’t put her name to it herself. Ugh, why are we even paying attention 😂

I’ve seen her Facebook. She reminds me of some people I know who were later diagnosed with schizophrenia. Obviously not trying to diagnosis her, but something is deeply off.

Richard Gabb himself said he was becoming obsessed with “Martha”. I mean he’s pretty crazy himself! A weird story when two weird people meet.

Richard gadd already said he never sent the real Martha to prison because she needed mental help, and sending her to prison would be to also admit to being abused, as his abuser should be held accountable and go to prison, so he’s already said the real life Martha didn’t get prison time

Yeah but he didn't try too hard to hide her identity. The tweets and social media posts shown on the show were verbatim to what she sent in real life, so it didn't take long for the internet stalkers to find her and dox her. So her name was already exposed long before she did this interview.

If she never did ANYTHING the character did and has a different name, how on Earth did she come to the conclusion the character was based on her? "I had a baby reindeer pluche and knew this man. He must be talking about me then! I need to give an interview!" I think any normal person would think: "I didn't do any of that. Must've been someone else then." The fact she didn't is to me an admission of guilt.

Netflix made a mistake saying it was a true story. If even a few facts are wrong, she could potentially sue them.

😅imagine having a stalker and fueling their delusions and mental illness as far as making them a star in a Netflix show starring you depicting their ‘love story’

“I didn’t send him anything” followed by “I may have sent him a couple of emails.” Means you sent him something, means you are lying ma’am and there are discrepancies in your own story

Why would she come forward? There was speculation, yes, but she confirmed it - correct?
