The ferry fare from Perth or Fremantle to Rottnest is over charging and freaking expensive. I hope the Ferry company contributes to the conservation of quokkas. If there are no quokkas, nobody will ride their ferry.

You may want to watch a beautiful documentary, about the island where, these particular quokkas, live. It's called, "Rottnest Island Kingdom of the Quokka". It's a great place to visit, not just for the quokkas, either.

How am I just learning about these precious creatures?!😽

From childhood & still in adulthood, I knew only kangaroos is the animal got pouch.

Although prohibited, It is impossible to resist petting them. If you do stroke them, don't overdo. You can feed them but just make sure it leaves from the native vegetation.

It's kind of expensive, but the Quokkas make it worth it

Fun fact : Quokkas throw their babies at predators to escape cuz they can always make another one .
