“MOTHER”, in every species, is a newborn’s FIRST LOVE.

She recognized her baby, held her quickly and gently to breastfeed. I can relate as a mom. How hard it must have been for her to wait to have her baby with her. And how hard for the baby too. Hope this separation was really necessary.

I totally agree as a mother. I'm sure it was absolutely necessary. Places like this work really hard to ensure these animals stay as wild as they're meant to be. They would have only taken the baby for its own safety. To care for a medical problem or to keep the mother from killing it bc their numbers are so low that every panda life is precious. I say that bc pandas frequently give birth to twins but only one makes it because they only have the means to raise one.

@@meggiemooism Panda numbers are no longer low. And the mother’s in the wild don’t have humans shining bright lights at them while they give birth on concrete floors. Based on the growing numbers in the wild, I think they need to separate the babies in captivity because the keepers make birth so stressful that the mother’s can’t do their jobs properly.

@@swedee5870 that's not so. The pandas bred on captivity are treated with care and respect . They take the cub away for a short while because she can unknowingly sit on it or somehow crush it because they are so tiny at birth.

I’m not sure she recognizes her baby. The hormones in her body shortly after giving birth make her want to nurture the baby. There is footage of a cat that lost her babies, and mothered over motherless ducklings instead.

Its incredible how gentle she is when shes picking up her cub. Idk y but it always amazes me how careful super strong animals r with their kids

Very precious. They were both super excited, you could hear it in the baby! And what does the good mom do? She quickly picks up her baby, holds and cradles for baby and nurses her baby! What a good and beautiful mother!

Pandas are actually terrible at raising their child. The babies are often taken away from their mothers because they would often crush them to death in their sleep.

If they went extinct, the ecosystem would be destroyed and more species would be lost. The panda babies have to be taken away from their parents for a short time for health examinations, similar to human babies in a hospital. They actually live in an environment with trees, grass, toys to play with, and fresh air. If you still don't get it, think of it this way: If there were only 100 people left on Earth, and aliens were trying to keep them alive (IDK just go with it XD), would they put us in places similar to what we're used to, or huge prisons with limited resources? I hope you guys understand the actual situation and stop falsely accusing people of crimes.

ASMRyouVEGANyet? No it's not a fake concern. The fur and meat of the pandas, from some stupid reason attracts the marked of animals. When it finnaly is such a small amount of them. It becomes illegal to kill pandas or whatever species it is. Unfortunately the black market won't care. People who don't respect the law or the animals still hunt for them. This is why you need to keep them in a controlled area. Please know and understand that they don't live in cages they love in a restricted area that is very much simpler to their natural environment. This is just to control the reintroduction between a mom and her baby panda. To ensure that she accepts it won't abandon it. This would be very dangerous for the baby panda and for the entire specie of pandas.

Yah i work at a pet zoo center for Koalas, Pands,Sloths and more so I have a Panda for a week a Koala for a week a Sloth for a week and more!

Wow, she is so gentle with her and picking up her up to give her loving is jsut so adorable and cute. The momma was so happy to see her baby and baby was happy to see her momma.. awe why did I cry

I love pandas absolutely one of my favorite animals in the world and I’m for saving them so if they need to be in a cage, a box or crate for a little while so be it. I watch all panda videos and agree that sometimes handlers can be rough but for the majority of the time I think they are well care for. There ought to be a sanctuary for these animals protecting them from predators weather humans or other animals. I’m glad for the care they get and pray everyone of the handlers are kind and caring towards them. ❤

I know everyone is upset about pandas being kept in cages. You're completely right, they belong in the wild. But you need to realise how rare pandas are and how quickly they are dying off, humans don't keep pandas in cages for the sake of it, they need to breed pandas to stop them from going extinct. It isn't ideal, it is cruel, but we can't let pandas go extinct.

The solution to poaching is NOT removing animals from their land; it is removing poachers from the land

Why can't we let panda go extinct? Is it just because we are attached to it? If it really mattered to us whether a species is extant or extinct, we'd have done most of the things differently than we are doing it now. We are letting millons of species go extinct with no efforts to prevent the doom at all. Panda could be one of them. It's of our concern simply because we can attribute economic value around the species. It can generate wealth for us and make the world applaud on our efforts. The effort made to preserve a species isn't going to wipe off the colour painted in our face.

Nahh they live in an environment with trees, grass, water, and bamboos and even a wooden playground for them. They just put the Panda's in that cage whenever they need to monitor their health like when they are sick, pregnant, etc.

Motherhood is something so beautiful in animals too. The mommy panda carefully took her baby through her mouth making sure the baby is not hurt and cuddle is adorable to watch. These pandas needs to preserved. they are the cutest.

When she lifted the baby to bring her close may have been the most "awwwww!" moment I've ever seen!

Mother and Baby's love and connection are heavenly and divine. If you get this nurturing and affection from a great mother, then you are so fortunate. I never got mother's love. So, I know this is more precious than any wealth. In this blissful state, in your mother's lap protected from all the worries of the world, seeping nectars of joy, one needs nothing more.

Incredibly honored to have witnessed that mother-baby reunion. Maybe the most beautiful thing happening in that country. In the Cincinnati Zoo, there are two, young baby hippopotami that are every bit as precious with their doting mother, Bibi. We are blessed to witness their activity.
