When I was growing up, my best friend’s name was ALSO Lauren! ....literally through the entirety of middle and high school, we were known either as “The Laurens” or “Lauren Squared” 🤣 at the time, we actually loved it because it was like the early 2000’s and we were obviously kids haha but now I’m definitely on the same train on thought when it comes to trying to name my children *unique* names! 😆 lol PS shout out to all the late 80’s - early 90’s babies out there who are named “Lauren,” “Ashley,” “Brittany,” or “Katie”! 😄😄😄

Chance was my cousins name when he was adopted at 10 months old. They wanted to give him a fresh start so renamed him to “Nathan” which means “gift from God”. His middle name is now Chance so it’s still part of his story and I think it’s the cutest thing!

That’s awesome your names didn’t change. I had a girl name picked out when we had our son but I didn’t use it when we had our daughter. My husband and I had a hard time picking out names we could agree on.
