Swaddling its such an odd concept in Spain. We don't do it. I babysat when I lived in the US, so I saw it a lot and go used to it. Now whenever I tell someone from Spain about it, they all look at me with disbelieve and say: they tie their babies with a cloth? haha. I am not judging but it's funny how some things are cultural.

I have 8 and I found that buying as I need and as I go was better than stocking up. Especially diapers. Every child grows differently. The most expensive diaper you buy are the ones you don't use.

Love your picks and your nays are spot on. Baby towels... I hate how they won't fold & stack with other towels. You should totally do the twins video, too. My advice, as a mom of twins: 1. Buy all matching boring plain socks, cause you don't need to spend precious time matching them. Oh, and one of every "cute" pair will go missing. 2. Buy a mesh zipper laundry delicates bag to put all those socks in, so they don't clog your front loader washer drain. Or if you have a top loader, a bag keeps you from having to reach into the abyss to get all the tiny socks. 3. Clorox 2 is a life saver for the brand new white onsie that your baby pooped on, even if you forgot to pull it out of the diaper bag and treat it the moment you got home.

100% agree! I had the EXACT same favorites - Copper Pearl was way better than Aden & Anais blankets. And the angel care tub is still going strong for my almost 2 year old. Baby wearing can be soooo intimidating, but practice at home with a full, happy baby for short amounts of time, until you and baby get the hang of it. I promise it's a game changer. I was afraid to make an investment on a baby carrier but I'm so glad I did! Great video!

I actually have gone through some wipe warmers! We have always cloth diapered, so I use my wipe warmer to hold today’s wet cloth wipes. Baby bath- we got an actual tub because I hated sitting there waiting for the big tub to fill enough for the little bath positioner thing. Baby carriers- I actually hate stretchy wraps. I feel like they are way too hot and too prone to sag. I much, much prefer woven wraps. And a good woven wrap will last for the entirety of a baby’s wearing time- even into the preschool years. I do also love a woven ring sling for a tiny baby because it is just easier on me when I’m sitting and standing and using the restroom.

My absolute favorite baby blankets are Muslin, mostly Aden and Anais. I prefer a couple sleep sacks over swaddling. Honestly all 3 of babies never liked being swaddled. I love the lifefactory baby bottles. Flour sack towels are absolutely the best for using for burp rags and for using for cloth diapers. My favorite cloth diapers are Alva and applecheeks. For disposable diapers I like the honest company diapers. I loved the foldable baby bath thing can’t remember the brand, but it has mesh in it as well. You have a great list and glad you shared what works for you. 💖

If you’re like me and get stressed out by wraps then get the baby k’tan! It’s so simple to use, comfortable, and versatile. I like my ergo and my lillebaby for hiking and back wearing.

I love these videos even though we just had our second and last baby in December! Definitely agree with the Baby Brezza formula thing! It's a lifesaver in the middle of the night when you're half asleep. Even my dad who is snobbish about not needing a lot of the newer high tech baby stuff loves it when he's watching my daughter. My best advice and what we did for our second child is to wait to buy a lot of baby stuff until your baby is here. Every baby is so different and you will save a lot of money by just making a nest egg and just waiting to see what they like. The first week all you really need are clothes, diapers/wipes, a safe place to sleep, a way to feed them and a carseat to bring them home. While we were in the hospital with our second we paid attention to if she liked being swaddled, rocked etc and which formula/bottle she liked. Then we ordered everything online and everything was there when we arrived home or shortly after. Also sign up for all the free boxes you can like target, walmart, amazon etc. You recieve samples so you're not paying money to see which diapers, bottles, pacifiers your baby likes. It will save you a lot of money in the end and you can donate whatever you end up not using from them.

I love the Ergo baby carrier. My daughter was very tiny, and I used it until she was 3.

New subscriber..and not sure why I chose to watch this...I’m a mum of one 26 year old...but LOVED this video...you were so honest and just keeping it real... and could so relate...loved that you said if you want to spoil do so...my son was our second baby..and the relief when he finely arrived safe and well.. it was tough not to spoil him..but as budget had a little something to do with it...he never went without ( with help from family and friends) but yes lesson learnt... especially after you declutter..you realise how much use did this item really have🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂🙋🏻‍♀️🇬🇧💕

YES! Swaddles with zippers are the best! I've tried the velcro and it just never worked, they always escaped!

Loved everything about this video. The sarcasm throughout was 👌On. Point. What we did for our son was beg/borrow/steal the bigger expensive stuff to see if it worked for him (a lot of it didnt including the baby swing), and buy as little as possible. We regretted that in some areas, ie cheaping out on the baby bassinet and just trying to use the multilevel pack n play, and learned from those mistakes. Next baby we will definitely be getting some kind of more comfy/snuggly sleeper for them. For the most part though, I am happy we didnt waste a ton of money on the most expensive stroller/toys/clothes/etc

Aaryn Williams mentioned that she rented her Snoo. That might be a more affordable option. Plus, you don't have to worry about what to do with it when your baby outgrows it.
