Thank you for that satisfying and flowing analysis of Rora's singing, her vibrato is so pretty. You're both drawn to her voice and all that she does with it, as well as her gestures and the use of her eyes engaging the canera. And at 14, can you imagine? This group is indeed a monster.

They all have beautiful vocal tone. Usually kpop only has 1-2 great singers.. but this group… everyone shines so it’s interesting to see what kind of songs they put out.

i don't think you're familiar with YG groups. Their vocalists don't get to shine cuz their groups most popular songs doesn't show off the vocals. If you wanna check em out, here's YG main vocalists that originated and debuted in YG. Big Mama(yep they debuted in YG), Gummy(debuted in YG), Daesung from bigbang(u alrdy know taeyang), Park Bom(2ne1), Lee Hi(got discovered in Kpop Star), Seungyoon(Winner. i think he improved SO much since debut. One of the two only idols that got crowned as king in Masked Singer. Check his perfs there.), Junhoe(iKON. Super underrated.) , Lee Suhyun(Akmu), and Bang Yedam(former treasure member(but still)). didn't include blackpink cuz pretty sure you know them alrdy. If you aren't a fan of their songs, check their perfs so you could get to know their vocalists. People just assume they only got great rappers

YG vocals are not SM vocal clean but they so good and unique and they hit different!

Asa rapping on English

It is interesting how a lot of people sleep on Rora, but the people that actually know about singing and vocal techniques are the ones that really appreciate her. And the fact that she can sing this legato style and then pop into vocal techniques and enunciation styles that are more Camila Cabello or Adele type songs without missing a beat. She is a such skilled singer.

I know I gave thumbs up ... KZread has been dropping them and I still re-watch & re-thumb/comment

I love your honest comment. Thank you because I sometimes does the cursive singing not because I want to but because of my jaw structure, I had to adjust my mouth to sound clearer and I placed it better now but still, sometimes I do sound mumbling especially when I can't really open my vowels as much as I should.

Vocally I hope YG allows them to sing the way they’re singing now when they debut. I loved listening to predebut Park Bom and Rose and even Jennie. And ever since their debut, they sing in such a strained way, like to fit the YG style and stuff. I have such a gripe with that

Still much clearer than mumble rap. Plus, sometimes trying to have perfectly clear diction in rap can take away from the style and flow...just looks at GD. Even his normal speaking in Korean is tough for them to understand and has become known as speaking GD-style.

i stand all these girls except Ah-yeon & pharita. idk, just not my type. but honestly can't wait to see Rora improvement, cause it's rare the RnB voice in a Korean group. also satisfied watching a stage present of Asa.
