The bond between the Donkey & the Labrador Retriever is a little unusual as typically Donkeys are known to dislike Dogs; ( especially creatures resembling a Coyote). This is due to their reputation as being fierce "Guard Donkeys" when in a Herd situation. There is nothing meaner, nastier or deadlier to a Predator than a Donkey; they quite literally shred intruders limb by limb!😳

Nikki, the beautiful golden retriever should lose a few pounds maybe. Not doing that can do a lot of damage especially as the dog ages. Things like diabetes, pancreatitis, arthritis, and trouble with mobility to name a few. I have a 10 yr old golden who would eat about entire bag of dogfood in one sitting if I let her lol. It’s so hard abstaining from giving treats, though!

I second this. My inlaws have a German Shepherd that developed hip issues at the ripe old age of _two_ because he was very overweight, which is incredibly sad.

The donkey has quite a few fat pads. That isn't good. It can indicate founder. I hope that's not the case.

27:24 That woman should have been educated on how to raise a donkey before she took on the role of a surrogate mother. She has to assert dominance and leadership skills or else that donkey can seriously hurt her. She must command respect and master the art of asserting dominance with that donkey. Donkeys are incredibly intelligent and strong-willed animals, which can sometimes make asserting dominance a challenging task. However, with the right techniques and methods, you can establish yourself as the leader and build a strong bond with your donkey. Donkeys need clear boundaries to understand their place in the hierarchy. Consistency is key here - establish rules and stick to them. By consistently enforcing boundaries, your donkey will understand that you are the one in charge. It's obvious, that this woman is too weak emotionally and too submissive to ever be in charge of such a dominant animal.
