I'm the same way with the bottles...I had psyched myself up to start pumping to attempt using a bottle at 4 weeks and then my fiancé (who had up until then been asking when he was going to get to feed her) said he thought I shouldn't....so yup she's now 6 weeks and still no pumping or bottles...am I going to regret this forever? Also do I really need a rock n play? Will it help save me from sharing a bed with my baby forever?

Being a stay at home mama is the hardest job out there. It is also work. It's great that the dad is also a dad at night. Babies need both parents.

I'm just catching up on the vlogs and I had to comment. My boyfriend and I had the same routine when my daughter was a newborn and he is STILL that hard to wake up for diaper changes 6 months later haha! too funny!

Missy, you are very blessed to have a husband who helps with the nighttime routine. Mine slept downstairs until our daughter was sleeping in her own room. Four years later, I am still the one who gets up 90% of the time.

my mom found her first grey hair in her lower 20's too. now she has this awesome grey streak like Rogue from X-Men!!! And Missy, on the pain while pumping - You do get used to it after a short time :) I pumped for over a year. The only pain I really went through was at the beginning when I had a big struggle breastfeeding, and I pumped pink milk due to my cracked nipples! Ollie-pop is adorable! You guys make the CUTEST family!!

I have a 9week old who I think is the cutest baby in the world but I have to tell you that Oliver comes in as a close 2nd he is adorable.

i have been pumping for 16 weeks as my baby was prem and in the nicu still. It does hurt with some pumps and it takes alot of comitment unfortunatly the nicu my baby is in is on the mainland so its effecting my milk and is starting to go :( that makes me sad but 16 weeks of EBM for my boy isnt bad right? Love watching your videos and your family is the cutest x P.s - i found my first grey hair last week and im 28 :(

She took it great at first, but then when my husband and I had to go on a trip she would not have anything to do with a bottle. So we ended up having to bring her with. Which I was happy about. I skipped the grey hair thing too & went straight to white! I got my 1st white hair when I was 21yrs old! Immediately after I discovered it, I went & told my family. My Mum then informed me she'd watched me wander round with it for 2 whole weeks & not said anything! Although my hair is still mainly brown, I do have a few white hairs growing (I'm now 33), but I've certainly not gone white yet! So don't worry Bryan, you've got a while to go yet! I've recently dyed my hair for the heck of it, but..

Like Bryan has said in the newest vlog, he's a parent too, he wants to help out with HIS child. My husband drives almost 100 miles a day to get to and from work, and when our baby will be here in 2 weeks, he'll be helping during the night too. If Bryan wants to help, don't pick at Missy for it.

I think early to mid 20s is when I got my first grey. that totally was Australia. They were once under British parliament. Pumping does hurt. I did it with my 1st baby because she wasn't able to latch. My 2nd baby was breastfed until he was 2.5 yrs old. I took it day by day, month by month and then he weened when he got sick and couldn't breath and suckle. My 3rd baby nursed for a bit, but then my milk dried up.

My 4 month old decided that she will not use the bottle anymore. Ugh! I used it only on Sundays during Church so I could here the sermon. Now I have to get up and go to the nursery. Also it really makes it impossible to leave her with anyone but no one will keep her right now anyways since she has severe separation anxiety and screams if I am more than 10 ten feet away from her.

Check out the book the Wonder Weeks, it explains different leaps the baby makes in brain development. Around 7-8 weeks babies go through major brain development and their world gets turned upside down explaining the neediness. My daughter went thru it at 8 weeks. You'll notice that he'll achieve a lot of milestones during this time. The books helps you understand what the baby is going through.

To everyone haten on missy for waken bryan up... seriously?!? If you dont agree with it... then dont do it. But thats a system they have worked out amongst themselves and its not anyones business but theirs! I for one aplaud them in it and i love that bryan does it!

It's an Australian onesie guys, we are a Commonwealth of England, meaning we haven't had a tea party? to get our Independence. I felt for you Missy with the first bottle, but think how much easier for Ollie if you get sick, called away on an emergency etc. He can now have extra water in summer and bonus, you can have an alcoholic beverage, use some of your stored milk for a couple of bottles and resume breast feeding. He's getting so big guys! TLC from OZ.

I am late for the party but I got my first gray hair when I was a teenager. It was a weird piece that went brown for a section near the roots, then gray, then blonde. I hadn't dyed my hair blonde so no idea why it was blonde or gray. It never came back though so yours might not either.

Oh... sorry for so many comments... you have really spoken to me tonight i guess. I too had the "some one took my baby" dream. In mine I have to compete in a weird game to get her back and even after I won they told me I could not have her. I was so heartbroken. I woke up and thought that I wish she will wake up so I can hold her and sure enough she started crying, so I quickly went in a held her tight.

She does all the feeding I'm sure Brian likes his time with Ollie even if its changing in the middle of the night... They are Great parents...
