It's sad when you think about it that most donkeys on Earth have always been abused by human in one way or the other. They have never had their share of experience of 'life' on Earth. I understand that they played a crucial role to mankind for a lot of things but still . It's amazing to see that they can be just as loving and beautiful as any pet dog or cat . God bless these beautiful creatures 💞

Because donkeys are harder to train and more stubborn than horses, where as horses are easier to train. Kind of like the difference between dogs and cats, some people don't like cats because cats are independent. Donkeys are like cats in that way. Also, they do look kind of silly and sound a little silly compared to their elegant horse counterparts, but the donkey's usefulness and importance throughout history has always outweighed their looks, hence why they are still with us to this day.

When I’m feeling a little low in mood I always search for videos like this to watch. Really lifts me up when watching these types of stories. The world doesn’t feel as damaged as it is when watching ☺️ thank goodness for animals and for people that go that extra mile to make their life full of happiness and love 😍

Donkeys are like big dogs. They are the best! I work with them and get to see them every week. They are funny and loving😊❤️

@Kari... Around the world donkeys are so abused and some actually collapse and can't walk they are so overloaded with stuff on their backs. It's tragic. They are so loving and sensitive like all animals. That's why I want the Lord to hurry back. I can't handle the cruelty to kids and animals.

I love his little happy dances where he just can't contain his glee! 😍 What an adorable little guy, and he's clearly having the time of his life with your family ❤

There’s 3 donkeys in the pasture behind my house and I love them. One I named Cuddle Bug, he wants to to pet only him and gets a bit jealous it i go to pet the others. I love hearing them hollar and I watch them run around playing with each other.

It is just beautiful to see a happy donkey. When you see the cruelty that is metted out to donkeys in certain countries. It will always warm my heart ❤ to see a happy healthy and loved donkey. We humans could learn a lot from our animal friends. To see Walter playing with the dogs is a lesson learnt of acceptance. Thanks to this wonderful caring ❤ and loving ❤ family.

What a funny little guy! I just love seeing different animals claiming their lives (and everything in them). Walter is a great character, I’m curious what we’ll see from him in the future; whether he could become a therapy animal would be interesting to discover. Either way, it’s a fantastic story!

anybody who loves animals - and doesn't play favourites, just loves them all equally - are champions in my book. these guys are legends. i've been alot to greece, and have always had a fondness towards donkeys. their eyes shines of love and something i can only describe as something alike wisdom. i love them, i truly do. and walter seems like a gem, and so does his adoptive parents!

If you've had a donkey you'd know they're MUCH CUTER than horses (still love horses but..... ). Donkeys are soooo full of character. And naughty and cheeky! You don't generally get that with horses, who are generally more docile.

Not only are they cuter, the are also smarter! You can stake a donkey out to graze without a fence because it won't tangle itself in a chain. You absolutly cannot do that with a horse. A horse would tangle itself and tear up its' legs or fall. I don't like the idea of stakeing any animal out, but growing up I saw this done on our ranch.

Donkeys are so freaking adorable and endearing. Cartoons and ignorant people give them a bad name but they're awesome.

So beautiful to see loving caring gentle and kind people giving a wonderful animal such a lovely home. Thank you ❤️
