I had a unassisted home birth in June as a FTM, most blissful experience. What truly helped was setting boundaries before labor. I didn't want unsolicited advice, I didn't want to hear negative birth outcomes (I mean we are well aware thanks to media right?) I allowed myself healthy "fears" as we are human navigating this portal, lots of affirmative music and words. My labor was 2 1/2 days and pushing baby out was painless!!! I envisioned myself opening like a flower in bloom, I surrendered to the process. It was like a switch went off in my brain and I felt expansion in the most beautiful way.

@takemypainaway9517 make sure to create an environment that allows you to be fully immersed in your birth. That should be your only responsibility as you're laboring. Delegate jobs if you must. Hydrate hydrate hydrate. Laborbis a marathon. Have little snacks too, although you may or may not want to eat. Be mindful of the language you want used in your birth space. MUSIC. I, nor my baby received anything during or after birth. If that's something you desire you may want to look into a medwife

@hmmhuh1222 I really only read 2 books truthfully. "Birthing from within" and "Tarot for pregnancy" I spent alot of time on KZread watching unedited free births to gain an understanding of what raw birth could look and sound like. Also followed pages on Instagram that were geared towards undisturbed birth. @badassmotherbirther @freebirthsociety etc. Also just searching thr hashtag gives you lots of insight.

i’m a maternal health researcher and i love your approach so much. there’s an overabundance of negative, depressing data about pregnancy complications and maternal mortality, and less data about the JOY that can come from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum etc. this is something that’s been done since the beginning of time! i love that you’re showing how you can take care of yourself + baby in ways that feel safe and empowering for you. it’s truly so beautiful. i hope and pray for all the best for your family ❤️❤️❤️

Congratualtions soul sistar! I was pregnant with my first at the same time you were with Aura and I recently had my 3rd baby girl in October. All of my girls were born at home and my last was a Free Birth, just me and my husband present, labored for 3 hrs total. I can't say if orgasmic birth is truly something I experienced but I definitely felt the least pain and the most calm this last time. My tip for any mamas who want a quick and easeful birth: I was sitting on the edge of my couch with my legs spread, basically in the squat position. I turned on a hypnobirthing affirmations video on the tv. When each contraction came I used breath work to focus my mind on sending all sensations to my uterus. Every contraction I breathed deep and low and felt her move down lower and lower. Breathing this way helped all sensations stay in one place and I could have a Clear enough mental space to tell my body to move baby down and out. my water broke and I heard a pop internally. I went to the toilet and let out everything in my bladder, then my husband helped me to the birthing pool. She started coming out immediately so I had to use my breath to slow her descent and used quick breaths to push her out slowly til she easily slid out into her dad's hands.Breath Work is the key, obviously lol! Squatting position as well:) Sending so much love to you and your growing family Veladya! Thank you for creating such a comforting and safe space on the internet

This is true. I had my 2nd baby at the hospital because they wanted 10k for home birth😮. And for me to go to a birth center, I had to change all my Insurance, drs and such. So I decided to have a hospital birth but be in full control this time. We made a birth plan. I stayed hydrated although they said don't drink. I told them what position I will be giving birth in. I told them.to do a delayed cord cut so the blood from placenta can pulsate back into the baby. I read and studied alot more this time. And because of that I didn't tear or need stitches. I birthed on all 4s. Although I do believe squat is best. Your body actually naturally makes u go into that position. I agree that breath work is everything. I had no pain meds for both births No epidural. I just breathed thru the pain and gripped the rail when necessary. When u are scared, ya uterus closes tighter, making birth longer and difficulties. I learned that u push during contraction only. The contraction helps to push so u not straining. We were very proud not gonna lie. I just wish I had music to zen out too. I also brought my own herbal pain meds and afterbirth stuff.

It is so important in how our “wording” affects our experience. Just the name “contraction” can conjure up tightening, gripping, stagnancy and control. If we use words like “sensations”; “waves” and “hugs” our perception of the intensity can result in sensations of softening, flow, surrender, warmth and acceptance. There can be less tension resulting in less sensations of pain. It’s fascinating and it works. Used the technique more efficiently at my second birth.

I had two freebirths a year apart! Alhamdulillah in my opinion freebirth is the safest most relaxing way to birth. I love that as freebirthing mamas we educate ourselves sooooo much and seek counsel from wise ladies! I love how we seperate ourselves from the system that tries to instill fear and mistrust in our Lord and in the way He designed our bodies. Hospitals routinely torture women every single day in this country and all around the world. Their standard protocols do not support the woman body which causes crazy complications that they blame on the woman. It's insane, demented and demonic in my opinion. May our Lord protect you and your baby and give you the birth of your dreams!! ❤

I had a painless birth with my first, it really is possible for anyone! I definitely experienced pain in the middle of labor when I got in my head but once I got back in the zone and blocked everything else out, it was blissful. I was literally smiling as my baby came out of me 🧡 You can definitely achieve this Veladya! Some tips that helped me: 1. Learn about how it's physically possible to have a pain free birth (oxytocin, just like you said) 2. Spend time connecting to your womb space, get comfortable bringing you awareness to different areas (hips, cervix, womb, etc) 3. Work through your childhood/unhealed traumas. All trauma keeps us from being fully alive in the present moment so the more you heal the more present you can be during birth. 4. Practice receiving every sensation as pleasure...start with positive/neutral sensations like touching your own arm and then you can try more challenging ones like standing barefoot in the snow. Practice going from discomfort to neutral sensation to pleasure. I could give a million more tips but I hope this helps someone out there 🥰

I practiced hypnobirthing with all 3 pregnancies and although I wouldn’t say “pain-free”, they were all fear-free, natural, and incredibly empowering, as well as bonding for us as a family. Unfortunately, they were all in the hospital due to lack of knowledge and resources on our part but without hypnobirthing, I can’t imagine how difficult and painful they could’ve been!!

I question the societal ways a lot. Just something so simple as saying homebirth, has family/friends jumping down my throat, but I know my heart and spirit really want it and I know that it is a good choice for me. You have given me so much knowledge and courage to stand in what I want and believe in and I cannot wait to hear about your birthing experience. ❤

For easier delivery: Adelle Davis book "let's have healthy children"..ch 13,p 124 "for an easier delivery" she lists calcium and vit e as two important nutrients. Both decrease sensitivity to pain, calcium :2000milligrams in a glass of milk at start of delivery. Vitamin e 400 units daily, zinc was also noted 10-15mg daily 1-2 weeks b4 expected delivery( of course, natural organic sources of these vitamins recommended). Hope this is helpful. Haven't tried these myself yet but will next time around.

I gave birth from home in August. It was my second as a mom and a first time as a doula. I definitely remember writing my boundaries letting others know and scheduling people to come over to help. Something I wish I did more of was have prepped meals frozen. The recovery period or 4th trimester requires allot of bodily love (massages, resting, postpartum baths). The struggle was truly remembering to let the body rest especially since my 3 year old requires him mommy time too. There's so much to consider so the practice of giving grace and releasing other people's stuff has been in season.

It happens when the head comes out and it absolutely amazing something everyone should experience. My first was the only one I didn’t experience it with but once I know that my body mind and baby are working together I let all fear go and went with it.I’m so glad you are trying to experience an orgasmic birth it’s not as long as a normal organism about half and just as pleasurable a connection with mom baby and body.

I believe that it's completely natural to feel pain when the body is going through something so traumatic. The most important thing is to not let the pain overwhelm you. Birth doesn't have to be "pain free" inorder for it to be transformative and beautiful. A healthy mom and baby after birth is what is the most important. Wishing you a smooth, unproblematic delivery, and speedy recovery. OAN: I think that you are having a boy!

Hi Veladya i am from Puerto Rico. Just as tou i planned my second baby (now 3 yrs and 3 months) for a home birth and couldnt achieved that. But my 3rd baby (now 10 months) we had it here in our home. Its so powerfull and beautiful. I wouldnt call it 100%pain free but i was so able to manage it better and it was less painfull ((a lot less) than my second boy…and although ended having him in the hospital it was natural and non medicated. For this 3rd i would say it was more of a bliss than pain free. I was such in a “natural hight” state. It was incredible because i didnt know it was possible in a birthing process. I was soooo relaxed for many hours i wasnt even able to push or anything . It just happened so natural and relaxed. I felt powerfull. ❤ I am so happy i know tou guys will rock this birth process. Honoring and understanding every one is different. I love Aura she is so adorable! Would like to meet you guys if u ever come to PR again. We live in the mountains of Yabucoa Puerto Rico. Love you and send ur family much love and blessings. This baby is a blessing 💫. We drink raw milk sometimes too when we can find it. We are also a “psychedelic family” both me and my husband have made the medicine. A lot of things this theme can be talked about. I love it. We have to stop being afraid pf all these things the system have told us and indoctrinated us to believe. ❤

I had a pretty pain-free birth. Planned to have the baby at a birthing center with a midwife but ended up in the hospital at 28.5 weeks. I closed my eyes and focused on breathing, listening to my husband coaching me breathing and relaxing in between each contraction. I also didn't force any pushing. I let my body do it for me.

Thanks so much! I came to one of your women circles in 2021 after being a subscriber. Now I am 5 months pregnant with my second. My oldest will be 17 next week. I am doing things differently. I went a “traditional” route last time resulting in a C-section. I did not trust myself at that time even though spirit was giving me so many messages. I have grace for myself, because it was not a bad experience, and my son and I are both healthy this time around. I have not been to the doctor and do not plan to. I am, saving up and looking into a midwife. My goal is to have an outdoor birth. I’m open to plant medicine during birth. I have still been using Plant medicine during my pregnancy. Thank you for being an online representation. I have been wanting to see more like mines journeys because this is new for me and not everyone understands but this time I’m trusting myself.

I wish I had so much of the birth information you share here, ( specifically managing fear and the realities of safety for the mother and child during labor and delivery ). When I had my only child. I was a single mother without a lot of personal support around, ( my partner had died when I was seven months pregnant). I'd forgotten about that glucose test until you mentioned here how dangerous it actually is! I had some kind of reaction to it that was terrifying - but I was negative for gestational diabetes, so why would a test make me sick?? I think now that I was just super uninformed - but of course, trying to do everything right for the baby. In my birth class, they did stress being your own advocate, But once I was in the hospital ,( and full of fear ), that kind of all went out the window and it seemed like traditional western medicine just dominated the process. Luckily, both my daughter and I were fine. But it wasn't the beautiful, memorable experience I would have wished for. I don't even remember seeing the umbilical cord! And they took the baby away to sort of clean her up and poke her feet for blood samples kind of immediately - which sends your protective mothering instincts into overdrive. I really do think that the baby internalizes the stress of this kind of birth too, even though most people probably believe they are unaware at that stage.

I got a question, but first y'all look so beautiful.. the way you said: "in that unification, came the desire to bring another ancestor foward" just cleared up my heart.. I thank you for being there because there is so much joy and love and I realise how great teachers you are, I'm grateful for that. So my question is how do you do your own research, how or where do you start/get your information?

Thats wonderful so many can see your story and see how birth and pregnancy are not emergency situations and processes. I,also, had an intervention free pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Currently, 18 months postpartum and ive used the green plant both thc and cbd for my medicines. Ive done a few podcasts that i talk about my experience now as pp support. I talk about our hotel birth my husband and I, first time mama at 34 and had an intuitive orgasmic birth, highly recommend 👌🏾 High discomfort not pain is what i had experienced, and Im nervous for baby 2 lol 😅 🙃 💐💐💐

Amazing that you're considering an orgasmic birth! I just took a Orgasmic Birth Doula Training. Think about your ideal birthing environment that will allow you to be in your body and remember you can't think your way through labor, you have to feel your way through it! Hope this helps! 😊🙏🏾

I was not at all fearful with my births. They were not "pain free" but they were suffering free. Not orgasmic in a physical way, but really beautiful in its intensity. My first one was 6 days of labor (i think i told you that when we met), and ended up transferring to the hospital despite our best efforts. I was at peace with it and grateful for the epidural when it was actually needed. 2nd baby was 2.5 days of labor and birthed in home standing up! Still not "orgasmic" or pain free, but suffering free, transformative and beautiful. There is also anlot of pressure for women to choose which kind of birth they want (orgasmic, pain free...whatever) but birth happens in spite of our plans. While "pain is caused by fear" i have heard a lot, it was not my experience. Sometimes we are clearing ancestral pain thru birth which still makes it beautiful. I certainly planned for a pain free orgasmic birth but being open to it being what it was allowed the intensity without disappointment that i didnt orgasm during the process 😉😊

Hi Valedya, greetings from the Netherlands 🥰 I tried to have a hypno birth… I read a book…and watch a ton of video’s of women who experienced a pleasured experience birth. I was o a roll… and could not wait to let it all start… no fear at all. This was my second birth btw. When the labor started i was all by myself did not want to wake my partner yet. But i stayed to the end by myself.. i was pain free… in extacy… no orgasim tho…. But so intune with myself…. And felt so strong, alert, and relaxed and calm at the same time. It was amazing. I knee that i had to stay alone… anything else would disturbed my extase- focus…. I had to stay with me. Enjoy the journey! And look forward to it… hype houtwerk up.. with all the positive thoughts and emotions. You Guys will rock. ❤

But I do agree that my baby now is stronger than my daughter was at 26 wks 6 days (27 wks tomorrow). I had her at 26 weeks. This little guy is busting hella dance moves in here most of the time. Can't wait to meet y'all and kiss your faces. Veladya, you are a true inspiration. As a South Georgia girl, it's hard to move around these systematic normals. I almost have to fight my family because I don't wear shoes and prefer to sit on the ground or floor. Shalam waBarakwath (Peace & Blessings) Te Amo.💚💛🩵🩶 P.S. Had a 48 hour labor + birth at home with a very hands off midwife. Wonderful experience. I didn’t perceive any of the contractions as pain, just “power”. It was a huge trip - I felt connected to all of womankind through time immemorial. I also had a vision of my great grandmother, who came to me and told me “the only way out is through” in transition. I will say, the last 10 mins - aka pushing my giant baby out through my lil vag - I did perceive as pain. It was fuckin hard and I was growling, and I think that’s awesome and OK. Listen, life isn’t always pleasure. I’m here to feel pain too, and on the other side of that fire, was absolute bliss.

I had a euphoric 7 hour birth as a first time mom! contractions started at 8 am baby came at 3pm ! My few tips 👇🏾 • Red raspberry leaf tea - I consumed red raspberry leaf tea almost every day starting my second trimester • Deep breaths through contractions - do not tense up ,breathe deeply and shake out your limbs when fighting through the pain if that makes sense( once the pain of the contraction would come I would shake out my legs my arms and breathe deeply) • Physical movement/birth ball- I bounced on the birth ball during my labor and made sure I was moving around the room squatting and bending over on the bed and swaying my hips. •Make noises- moan and Deep belly roar like the mama lion you are when needed. It helps open the birth canal. • lots of water / bathroom breaks ! Releasing pee helps dilation as well as sitting on the toilet! • Stay OUT of the birth pool as long as possible. Wait until you’re ready to push to get in. I know the pool is used to manage pain however the pool sometimes slows the process down .. Praying for a blissful and safe delivery 🙏🏾🤎✨

If it's something you're willing to get into more detail on I would love to hear about the cosmic signs you received about conception. I feel like something similar might have happened to me. I labored at home all day by myself thinking it was just braxton hicks 😂 once the cold chills hit I knew my body was telling me it was the real deal. In the 4 hours from me having that realization to my daughter being born I would say it got pretty intense but I was calm. I wouldn't say my birth was pain free, I did let out 1 scream at the very end due to a tear which might not have happened if I was in the more relaxed setting I would've preferred (home birth) but baby girl was ready to arrive a little sooner then expected so for safety I too ended up in the hospital. But I think because I kept an open mind through out the pregnancy that yes I had my preferences but I had complete trust that birth would go the way it was meant and I just rolled with the flow so even though we were in the hospital I still had an overall good experience considering the circumstances. I birthed vaginally with absolutely no medical interventions and I would do it all over again if I am called to bear another child.

Mom of 4 here 17, 16, 21months, 6months. I first want to say I’m so over the moon happy for y’all❤ I felt led to share for any momma currently watching this video who is expecting or ttc Please do not personalize this video. Everything Veladya is sharing is her experience. It’s a beautiful gift she has and why we all follow her. Pregnancy is very Sacred and different for all women. No two pregnancies are the same. Comfort yourself in knowing that you can have a positive Hospital Birth just as you can a Home Birth. My youngest was delivered via C-section and I was in active labor 5 centimeters dilated. Not only was my son breeched but he was stuck. The ultrasound saved his life and my life. They were very much needed❤ my intuition told me to go to the hospital I was not in pain but I was very much in active labor. I would say you must have a strong prayer life nothing major but tap in with God for everything. Pray over your medical team. And pray for babies guardian angle in the womb. Also I agree with Veladya that glucose test is no good and the Results are rubbish. Eat healthy drink lots of water take your vitamins and move your body at least 30 mins a day. Ok love y’all bye❤

It's important for women to see themselves in each other. If someone feels called to freebirth do the research, pray and go for it!! ❤ you don't have to be "special" to freebirth or have a wild pregnancy. Many women of all backgrounds have freebirthed since the beginning of human existence.

What Velayda is saying isn't radical that's my point. Hospitals are very dangerous places to birth especially for black women in my opinion. They subject women to tortuous unnatural things and project lies onto the woman making her feel like her body is broken. Birth in this country is a huge money making machine. Breech is a variation of normal for instance and I wouldn't expect to peacefully birth a baby breech in a hospital because they do not see it as normal they see it as an emergency. It is much safer for a healthy woman to birth undisturbed. To women reading this if you feel called to freebirth do the research and pray and go for it. It is truly just a process of unlearning and normal and not rocket science at all❤

@@artsynahnah2658 Just as i stated in my original post. Every pregnancy and every birth is a Sacred Experience. Unfortunate outcomes can happen both in a home birth or hospital. It’s reckless to say a woman can safely deliver a breeched baby. My son was not only breeched he was stuck in my uterus. I’m a greatful for the two ultra sounds I had that clearly showed his position and I am grateful for my positive C-section it saved my life and my sons life. I felt led to share my positive experience for any momma currently pregnant. So she knows that you can have a positive birth in your home or hospital.
