I don’t agree with initiating kids into this. Let them make that decision once they have the capacity to do so. If they don’t like our religion and leave later, not only will they resent you for imposing this on them but the ceremonies stay on the body for the rest of their lives. Scratching is referring to initiation into the religion of Mayombe. Practitioners do not have to be scratched being that they are different religions.
