Fun fact, you can watch this run at 50% speed and it almost sounds normal

I was expecting this to be a "silent guy quickly does the game and you just have to marvel at how fast all this happens" was NOT ready for him to explain the damn puzzles to me! So nice! So entertaining! I had no idea what the true ending was and it so emotionally devastating I couldn't handle it

the runner's sense of humor works perfectly with this game

This run is legendary. I still have no idea how punchy was able to not only maintain commentary while playing this game at such a breakneck place, but also give commentary with some of the most memorable one-liners of the marathon.

This run would have been great in front of an audience.

"My greatest accomplishment today was not being a fence" I might have to start quoting that in a regular basis irl, amazing run!

"I might have to do that over again. I do. Balls." just in monotone. Love it. I had to slow this down to .75 speed to actually see what was happening lmao. Brain is melt indeed. Love you Punchy!

Me: "I've beaten the first few worlds of this, I bet I can follow what happens" ....... BRAIN IS MELT AND EMPTY AND DONE

I’ve played this game up until around the [Empty] mechanic is introduced and had no idea how absolutely bonkers it gets from there. Watching this live, my eyes were glued to the screen and i was yelling WHAT???? every few seconds.

The entire run is one big Chaotic Neutral energy and I love it

2 minutes in and this is the highlight run of the event tbh. Such amazing energy coming out of Punchy!

Man I love Punchy. It's nice to see he's just as energetic when he isn't speedrunning horror games.

It's not often you see a speed run that makes you want to sit down and catch your breath. And then remember you were already seated the whole time.

not joking, i look through gdq uploads since i dont really watch streams and search for punchy playing, him and bloodborne guy are stars of gdq

This run was amazing, but in my opinion, witnessing the chat lose their minds over this made it SO much better.

the new silent hill is... different

It makes make sense why 22:20 is the most replayed section of the video. He turns level into fall which makes the level fall off screen super fast. Plus the entire thing happened in three seconds.

Honestly the greatest run ever

As someone who just watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World for the first time *yesterday*, my boredom leading me to pick up Baba is You again after a few months today, getting stuck on a level, watching tutorials and stumbling upon this speedrun to see 3:10 is nothing short of a miracle to me.

Punchy? Wait a minute... this isn't a Silent Hill game.
