Unfortunately, circumstances made him to involve in 1857 freedom fight as he was emporer then. Otherwise he was very good poet. He expressed the feelings of his heart very beautifully in his all verses. God bless him.

I heard this Gazel 100 times tears rolling down from my eyes when I temporarly lost my sound due operation & radiation in my voccal chord during June 2022 to August 22 Bahadur sha safar last Emperor of India also great poet

Unki ankhon NE, not unki aankhon MEIN. But it doesn't seem to be your mistake. Being a South Indian, you sang very well. Kudos. The accompaniment was also good and the flute recital was superb. Three cheers for you all and to Media One.

Excellent rendition of this famous Ghazal of Mohammad Shah Zafar, the last king of Delhi. Kudos to Ms. Gayaytri Asokan considering that she is from South India and had to learn not only Urdu language but take lessons in Indian classical music as well to be able to sing Ghazals. Extreme hard work and dedication indeed. But she had this extreme pull by listening to Ghazals sung by maestros like Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Jagjit Singh and not to forget fellow South Indian great Ghazal Singer Hariharan. Excellent voice, singing and Tallafuz indeed. May you go from strength to strength and along with your Sitar playing husband keep entertaining the music lovers of the Suncontinent.
