First generation ? He's second generation no ? With Suju and snsd. First generation is HOT and SeS i think. But it's OK jaejoong you look much younger than your age. Now idol who are 30 s are so uncomfortable about their age. I don't know why. I mean their are not that old. It's not like they are 60 years old. They not have to feel very old just because the new generation are 20 s.

Baro mean because b1a4 from 2nd generation too, but last 2nd generation thats why he was said jaejoong from 1st gen beause tvxq was first idol from 2nd gen, not mean like ses, hot

TVXQ was most definitely the beginning of 2nd gen. 1st gen was HOT shinhwa sos boa, They led 2nd gen, and 3rd gen started with Miss A, EXO, etc. After school is 20000% same era as TVXQ lmao

TVXQ isn’t first Generation kpop. They are the start of second generation. After school is in the same generation, they just came years later. TVXQ, Shinee, Suju, Big Bang all belong to the 2nd generation. First generation is S.E.S, Baby Vox, H.O.T, Shinhwa, Finkl, Sechskies, and the like. First generation ended around the time Boa was in her 2 year since debut. First Generation ended in 2002, TVXQ debuted in 2003.

@@Tiredoflife577 TVXQ are a second gen group but it's pretty common to see people thinking they are first gen. The music and the fashion that was often inspired by Japanese rock bands, the lyrics of some songs like 'triangle', 'free your mind' or 'O jung ban hap' where they sing about violence, poverty, war, death, and neglected children are typical for male first gen idol groups, Shinhwa's 'Yo!', H.O.T's 'AYAH!' and 'Age of violence' are great examples and TVXQ actually received a lot of hate from H.O.T fans who said that TVXQ is copying H.O.T. Not even to mention the religious, katholic symbols of hope that you see again in 'Triangle', 'O jung ban hap', 'Rising sun' and other songs. It's not as extreme as in H.O.T's 'Hope' but normally you wouldn't find it in second gen group MV, not with this meaning. I think that TVXQ were something like a bridge between the first and second generation of kpop, even though they are officially a second gen group.

To me he is 2nd gen. Shinhwa and HOT is 1st gen
