I love your custom cabinet! Also, nice playing. I have this piano (the acoustic piano) in my living room. And I have the PIanoteq version, and was impressed how well Pianoteq created these sounds.

Wow, your setup looks awesome, I'll have to make something similar. I also bought a new Pianoteq Bosendorfer and it's really great. The best so far. Which preset do you use for that piano model and what other piano vst do you use with that controller ? Thanks for the gig.

@@NesolitS Thanks for the compliment! The preset you hear in the video is the "Classical" preset. I also have the Steinway from Pianoteq, next to that I also use Kontakt with several piano models, The Gentleman, Alicia's Keys, Noire, The Giant, Una Corda, The Macerick and some others.

@@jaapvanderplas Thanks for the answer, I guess the key action is taken from a real piano, also the software that connects all the pianos, really great. Nice to know about mechanics and programming. All the best !

@@NesolitS The keys are hammer action wooden keys from Fatar, and the software is written by myself. It sends midicommands to Pianoteq and Kontakt. They run in the background. So my interface stays the same for all piano's. I just press a button in the touchscreen and the choosen piano loads in the background! There are also a couple of real buttons and potentiometers which are connected to a microcontroller and sends messages to my software to control volume, reverb etc. It was a big project but it gave me lots of fun! 😀 But nowadays you can buy a lot of these things, buttons, sliders etc. which are programmable with midi controller functions. So this makes it a lot easier to build this yourself without to much knowledge of electronics. Succes if you are going to give it a try and thanks for the interest! 😀
