NEW Pianoteq Bösendorfer 280 VC
Музыка
A little improv on the newest modeled grand piano from Modartt -- a Bösendorfer 280 VC. Let's take it for a spin and see how it sounds!
You're hearing the "Bosendorfer VC Classical Recording" preset with the condition slider (wear and tear) set at 0.08. The audio is directly from Pianoteq, with no external effects. The only post-processing is a peak limiter and 320 kbps MP3 compression for KZread.

Every time I listen to your fingers dwelling through the keyboard, It makes me travel very far... I work with music every single day, and this doesn't happen often. I would listen to a whole concert of yours just improving while testing new stuff, lol. Great to see you posting again

Leon! Thanks man!
Very nice, what do you think to it overall? Seems strong on the bass, also how do you set or control/limit your recording levels for your audio recording? Do you leave pianoteq at the default voice volume? Maybe you set in your daw the recording level? I guess you know about clipping and know how to avoid it completely? Looks like the levels are at max at times when you play in this video…when I watch the pianoteq screen.

Hey Mark! Yeah, the bass is very powerful on this one. I like it a lot. For the recording, I set the Pianoteq track in my DAW (Reaper) to about -6dB, and there’s a limiter on the master and then normalize levels afterward. Levels were definitely at max several times, the dynamic range is huge.

Thanks so much again for your information, so helpful, I use cubase so I should do same probably and set to minus 6db somewhere in the software then, I normalise after too and also use maximiser.
lovely. you do it justice. as a matter of interest, what controller are you playing?

Thanks, Chris! I'm playing a Yamaha CP88 (similar action to the P515).

@@andy-simmons thank you so much for the answer. Can’t wait to try it!
Hi, I need your help. I would like the sounds of the VST to be heard directly from the speakers of my piano. but I can't turn off the sound that is reproduced internally by the piano, so I hear the sound of two pianos at the same time. Is there a way to turn off the sound coming from my piano and only hear the sound of a VST?

Hi Svelto. The feature you're looking for is probably called something like "local: off" or "local control: off". Which model of digital piano are you using?

@@sveltopiatti4221 Cool. It looks like you hold "shift" and press the B above middle C to toggle local control on or off. Here's more info if this helps: www.mecldata.com/download/manual/SP201-SP201PLUS_OM.pdf
Well, i tested the Demo. The problem here is that high notes has been left out. Unfortunatley this is the weakness of this piano. It does not sound that convincing as the rest, which is really quite impressive.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to spend more time in the top octave next time. I actually really like the high end, though different rooms/headphones make a difference for sure. I've heard someone who owns an acoustic 280VC talk about the upper registers as the strength of the Pianoteq model (forum.pianotell.com/d/828-bosendorfer-concert-grand-280vc-coming-to-pianoteq/9), but I don't own the real deal myself, so I don't have a great frame of reference.
