My older brother had a 55 Ford like his. He went hunting and struck out but did catch an armadillo to bring home to pet. By time he got home the creature had crawled inside the passenger door. We never did figure that out.

What an entertaining movie! I love it!
I was one year old when this came out. I know none of these actors but it was fun! What that doc had for hair before he went on the lam was crazy...daddy-o. Lol. I love the old cars too. Always a thing in my fam. Now that my Dad and Mom and oldest little bro are gone, not so much, but I really miss that. And them. Thank you for the deep dive into nostalgia🙏🏼😉 So scary how fast time is moving! To me anyway it seems to move faster every year. Now that I'm pretty much past my prime, I really notice. And I have this niggling itch to try to hold on. Slow it uk? I hate the media and stores and stuff selling like Halloween 2 mths early. My fave season and Fall. When you're a kid you're all for longer times to enjoy. But you don't get that it's actually pushing it away faster for the next big money holiday. So sad.💔
An enjoyable one, right from the start till the end.
Really great B movie, loved it. give us more!!!

Thanks for finding and posting this terrific movie. In addition to the storyline, I enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce about the various vehicles of my youth. There's a lot of Fords, and if I'm correct, a couple of either Mercurys or Lincolns too.

I liked the film very much ,thankyou,
I was so surprised by the ending. I thought for sure that the bad guy was going to prevail!
This movie turned out to be better than I expected. All the cars were Ford, except the Lincoln Continental and I think Ford owned that back in the 60’s.
I remember the motels from the 60"s. They were just as nice as the ones you see in this movie. And the folks managing these places weren"t of a foreign extraction...

A true blue, sappy, hero-type, cornball movie. No wonder we have so many doctors....
You're right I always check out the cars and the stylish clothing
Those hats... never drops, no matter how the person is moved😂
Wildly absurd ending chase that the doctor can reach the villain's car faster than the villain.

"Good shooting, Colonel." "You Bet!"

The music was a lot like that in "Ben-Hur".
Classic actor Willis B is l great 👍 n this..hes in lots movies first saw in Horse Soldiers":2/wvJohn Wayne& Constance Towers great movie too .. wonderful voice Mr Willis B..actor
17:15, Blue Willow pattern cups and saucers.
The 'Big Guy' is named 'Craven'. The writer had a sense of humor.
It is a great movie.

Sure lots of snazzy Fords
Talk about poor planning . For someone expecting Killers to come and get them. They had zero defense. And it makes no sense why didn't the old guy shoot Craven. He nailed the one guy and then let Craven go
@pualdupvandoff8199

Well, if the Col. had shot Craven, then the Doc wouldn't have been able to get him, redeem himself, be a man, get the girl, and everyone's respect😊
When the Deputy puts on his coat, while knocked out.......and Dr. Rayburns Son, was in the Beverly Hillbillies, as Dr. Rayburn.

Why didn't Dr. Roger tell Laurie to call the police while he was preparing for surgery? 🤔

A corny but fun movie, a quite predictable ending. I must admit i think i enjoyed the cool cars and the pretty and ditzy blonde more than anything. Funny, the opening scene, the gangsters driving in a 1960 Lincoln Premiere 4 door. I have the exact car outside in my garage right now, had it since 1977.

Why was the pretty lady " ditzy" bc she was feminine & in love !?👎
Dr. Frank Harlow is in the process of trying to save a man badly beaten by two gangsters whom he identifies to the police. When the victim dies the charge becomes murder and Harlow hightails it to the far woods where he finds a job as clerk Roger Condon in a sporting-goods store. Harlow's plan is to lay low until the gangsters forget about him. But complications arise from two different sectors. First, Harlow falls in love with the local beauty Laurie Maitland and second, the murderers find out where he is hiding
I knew this was going to be a good movie when I saw that it was approved with certificate #19877.🙄
Minute 48
24:22 You owe me $5.60, That's a fill up & qt of oil. But at 25:12 get into car, at 25:26 attendant goes to back & pulls hose out, then as car pulls off put on pump. Tell's ya he's an actor cause sure would've topped off for a few cents more....and wouldn't want to make a splash if nozzle clicked on as hit the pavement.
All this talk about shooting wild animals being a hobby or something a man can loose himself in, something he really loves to do, is rather nasty. Watch 14:41
