It’s definitely way more layered than that and they got overlap in where they’re nice, but that’s my main takeaway and why I can play 21’s music as much as Sheff’s. There’s a balance of gangsta shit with pain music why I prefer, but feel free to speak on 22’s pain music, idk much bout that. I thought he’d drop a banger multiple times that was just disappointing, like 2-3 times in a row starting with the rip track he made for his niggas, fallen blixky’s I think. Bro could’ve talked about chillin with his niggas, how they’re gone, and it would’ve hurt harder. I get if he was feeling dangerous after he lost his friends, probably didn’t want his opposition to see him get soft, which I truly think is where he does himself injustice. Once again, drop 22’s pain music If you know it and I’ll listen.

Bare facts @ Sheff &tutu/their people got the drill shit started in the city, (music), and pop brought a spotlight of greater size to what was already goin down for a little bit by the time he stepped in the game and his sound made Brooklyn’s still start to feel more diverse.

Actually what put NY on the drill map was actually 22gz with Suburban and Sheff G came in later. The one who brought Drill to the rest of the world was actually Pop Smoke. So basically it was 22gz that started the full movement in NYC

No Pop only made it a lil more mainstream. It was Sheff G n the blixkies in Bk that put NY back on the map. Pop smoke just got it the main stream appeal, but NY drill was already bussing. After that the appeal went to other states and pop just brought it back

@@Eli-akad Sheff G and Woo mainly took over the drill scene because 22gz got himself locked up and snitched his way out of a charge in Miami. If Pop Smoke was still alive the Drill Scene probably would've lasted two more years like Chicago drill, but it died out in 2020 because of the feds & everyone else moving away from drill. Bronx & Harlem took over after that.
