I do like the fact that the final boss of the game just drives home the fact that no fuck you Kenshiro is invincible. You can be as shitty and conniving as you want but it ain’t gonna do shit. Targa’s a joke to Ken and I love it. Of course no one beats Raoh but it’s still a fun concept.

@@TRDEWH It's not even that Ken is invincible. Targa is just an enhanced human with fewer pressure points. Any of the main Nanto users could beat him without issue (since Nanto doesn't depend on what kind of body you have), and Raoh's brute force would crush him too. It's just that he has more advantages against Hokuto users that don't specialize is brute force. Ken just knows how to adapt, like he did with Souther. Hell, I'd say that Toki could do the same. That puts Targa somewhere around Jagi-level, but with delusions of god-hood.

This is a pretty nice twist of an enemy for Kenshiro. Cybernetic. aka: No pressure points. But thats not a problem. Sometimes, you just gotta go for a good ol' fashion brawl.

A little, yeah. Remember, different pressure points do different things. It’s simply that most scenes in the anime among other mediums require just the handful. There are scenes where people get their voices, eyes, or legs unbroke, but they’re not as numerous as the ones which depict implosion, yeah? Meanwhile, destroying synthetic material is probably easier for Hokuto, all that’s required is finding the minuscule imperfections and poking them. Though, killing Targa is probably more difficult because one may assume the implants are made of higher grade materials than an old mass-produced tank or a reinforced metal door. Plus, he’s shooting at Ken which is probably somewhat distracting. Nevertheless, the organics surrounding his cybernetics are there to touch, it just takes longer to find and touch them. X3

Stroheims theme actually quotes an exerpt from Thus Spoke Zharatrusta by Friedrich Nietzsche. This does not seem to be anything in particular, although we need more philosophical quotes in boss music. Though I see how the sound is a LOT like "Propaganda".

I do prefer the English translation here: Targa the Ascendant the original Japanese phrase was Targe the man who became God, sort of cliche in videogame...
Only issue with targa was that i wish he was a bit smarter knowing that he still has pressure points in certain areas in his body and that kenshiro can still always punch you to death if needed lol

Actually, Targa is pretty strong. He can copy martial arts technics from other fighters (he copied Nadai's technique then he impersonates King of Ruin) , but, for some reason, refused to use his ability. P. S. He foolishly thought that being half-cyborg grants him invincibility to Hokuto Shinken.

I do like the fact that the final boss of the game just drives home the fact that no fuck you Kenshiro is invincible. You can be as shitty and conniving as you want but it ain’t gonna do shit. Targa’s a joke to Ken and I love it. Of course no one beats Raoh but it’s still a fun concept.

@@TRDEWH It's not even that Ken is invincible. Targa is just an enhanced human with fewer pressure points. Any of the main Nanto users could beat him without issue (since Nanto doesn't depend on what kind of body you have), and Raoh's brute force would crush him too. It's just that he has more advantages against Hokuto users that don't specialize is brute force. Ken just knows how to adapt, like he did with Souther. Hell, I'd say that Toki could do the same. That puts Targa somewhere around Jagi-level, but with delusions of god-hood.

This is a pretty nice twist of an enemy for Kenshiro. Cybernetic. aka: No pressure points. But thats not a problem. Sometimes, you just gotta go for a good ol' fashion brawl.

A little, yeah. Remember, different pressure points do different things. It’s simply that most scenes in the anime among other mediums require just the handful. There are scenes where people get their voices, eyes, or legs unbroke, but they’re not as numerous as the ones which depict implosion, yeah? Meanwhile, destroying synthetic material is probably easier for Hokuto, all that’s required is finding the minuscule imperfections and poking them. Though, killing Targa is probably more difficult because one may assume the implants are made of higher grade materials than an old mass-produced tank or a reinforced metal door. Plus, he’s shooting at Ken which is probably somewhat distracting. Nevertheless, the organics surrounding his cybernetics are there to touch, it just takes longer to find and touch them. X3

Stroheims theme actually quotes an exerpt from Thus Spoke Zharatrusta by Friedrich Nietzsche. This does not seem to be anything in particular, although we need more philosophical quotes in boss music. Though I see how the sound is a LOT like "Propaganda".

Didn't Kenshiro fight a cyborg in HnK, and used his strength to disable it and not use the pressure points? I'm pretty sure if you have metal body parts, you are immune to pressure points.

Actually, Targa is pretty strong. He can copy martial arts technics from other fighters (he copied Nadai's technique then he impersonates King of Ruin) , but, for some reason, refused to use his ability. P. S. He foolishly thought that being half-cyborg grants him invincibility to Hokuto Shinken.
