I died laughing lmao. Its called "Fly" to represent that the Kirin (Mine) and the Dragon (Kiryu) are flying so high up into the clouds that is all or nothing at this point. Also Kirins only appear when a lord or leader dies (being Ryuji or Jin Goda) and are the only creature that can really kill a legendary dragon (Hence why Mine is buttcheeks overpowered I mean the guy has EWGF from Tekken in his moveset lol).

  • @benpurdy2689

@@egotistikz I believe the "leader" in question, that is the reason the Kirin would arrive, is actually Daigo. He isn't actually dead however he is in a state of comatose and it's unsure if he'll recover. After Daigo is put in this state by Andre Richardson, Mine begins to have a bigger role within the clan and the lives of Kiryu and others. So either way you're right, the leader (Daigo) is seemingly about to die so the Kirin (Mine) arrives and battles the Legendary Dragon (Kiryu)

This fight was the one and only time I used a sacrifice stone in the entire series. Which was thematically so great. Considering the sacrifice stone in 3 is a gift from Sayama, and with how Mine talks about how caring for people and love for others is a sign of weakness, it was Kiryu's bond with Sayama that allowed him to win the fight for me.

It's... for everything it does right, it drops the ball in some other way. As a game, it's okay. But it is regarded as the worst game in the main series for quite a few reasons. And the infinite blocking is one of those reasons. Yakuza 3 has its moments, but again, they get brought down by what the game does wrong.

He becomes incredibly aggressive, gaining super armor, and many of his attacks will send Kiryu flying. He is also immune to grabs. Purple: Wall. Mine is probably my favourite boss in the Series, he's a dark splitting image of Kiryu, he's not evil, he just wanted someone to recognize him, someone that see him as equal, he's Kiryu if he never met his Friends, it's such a shame that he had to die, having him as an Ally to Kiryu would probably be the best thing ever happen in Yakuza series, next to Ryuji being an Ally in Y:DS

7:40 epic ending of the theme. Also interesting how Mine put his right hand around kiryu's neck and fell down and accepted his defeat Also at 2:42 and 6:00 that's my most favorite moment of all. The piano and the rock guitar build up was so great, I will never forget this track. The piano and the rock guitar build up also displays Yoshitaka Mine's Life. The piano build up part on that reminds me that he had a rough childhood, He did everything he can to earn money and he succeeded yes. His life was sad, He had no companions and all that even that assistant.. But Mine can get really Brutal and that's where the rock part comes in. He was a tough opponent for sure. I'm glad that Yoshitaka Mine is the Final Opponent. Man Hidenori Shoji did a great job making this track. If you listen closely at 2:55 or 6:14 you can hear some violin parts in it too

That hug, in turn, symbolizes Mine's acceptance to defeat and as a man's gratitude to another by a "friendly" gesture. @@huuuuuuuh60871 The Metal Gear was the designation given to various models of bipedal tanks. Metal Gear were behemoth machines capable of decimating lesser machines. Metal Gear had the distinction of being nuclear capable, firing warheads from their rail gun, eliminating the need for a missile, or launchpad allowing them to attack targets from anywhere in the world, on any kind of terrain. This peaked with Metal Gear REX which was sophisticated enough to launch a nuke and hit a target from anywhere in the world. REX also had the distinction of being completely untraceable. The general definition of a Metal Gear prior to the collapse of the war economy was a mobile nuclear launch platform similar in purpose to ballistic missile submarines. However, its precise definition was debatable, as many other weapons had been designed to fill a similar role, or had used the same technology. The individual units had varied greatly in appearance and size, but their purpose had always been the same-to destabilize the global balance of power via the threat of covert long-range nuclear attack. The term "Metal Gear" was coined by Soviet weapons scientist Aleksandr Leonovitch Granin to describe to Naked Snake in 1964 the "missing link" between infantry and artillery: infantry could roam the battlefield at will, but were both vulnerable and lacking in firepower; artillery could inflict immense damage upon an opponent while resisting similar damage, but was at the mercy of the terrain. Granin envisioned a tank with legs, enabling it to quickly traverse the battlefield, inflicting and repelling damage on a scale never before seen. Following an encounter with a Gekko in 2014, Otacon explained to Old Snake that what made a "Metal Gear" was specifically its nuclear launch capability, or in the case of RAY, being designed specifically to eliminate REX as an application of overall nuclear strategy.[1] Considering Granin's original coinage of the term, it could be therefore assumed that a Metal Gear could be defined as a bipedal nuclear weapon. Not only did this negate the Gekkos and the Mk. II/Mk. III from being true Metal Gears, but it also discounted Metal Gear RAY. Otacon noted that RAY was an exception to the definition, as it was overall created under the premise of nuclear strategy (it targeting nuclear warhead-equipped Metal Gears

It was nice seeing Kiryu being a responsible and kind father figure for the kids with a soft side for Haruka, but almost an entire half of the storyline of the above is not something I would have expected in a Yakuza game. All these big action set pieces and dramatic final bosses will be with me forever, I doubt I'll ever replay the series, I'll go back to 100% them all sure, but I doubt I'll ever do a second full playthrough, I feel like the impact of the series' end will be lessened if I do

A lot of music in the games and remakes that came after 3 use a motif from this song and it’s become a pretty normal occurrence throughout the series. I think the most obvious use of it is in Battle for the Dream, the final boss theme of yakuza 5. Mine was also just a really memorable boss fight with a banger like this in background.

Not unless they overhauled Kiryu's fighting mechanics in the dragon engine, since they're pretty wack in both 6 and Kiwami 2. Seeing Ryukyu rendered in the dragon engine would look incredible though, and it's one of my favorite locations in the series.

Yeah, Kiryu's fighting style is so bare bones in 6 and K2, especially compared to Yagami. If they ever make Kiwami 3 he'll definitely have some sort of style switching, cuz Mine also has different styles in his fight. Also Ryukyu in dragon engine would look jaw droppingly beautiful.
