Souther's fight is too overhyped for my taste Great music, but the character is a waste of potential in the original mangá, animations and even games. Ok, he's blazing fast and really tough and the strongest fighter Nanto could throw at any Hokuto fighter but.. What killed Souther was his pride and arrogance and in gaming, they never display how powerful he could actually be as a boss

Considering that Araki never really paid in full how much Jojo 1 and 2 were kind of ripping off Fist of the North Star, its only just that Ryu Ga Gokuto Studio and Buronson finally claim their due by making their own Pillar Man theme!

This song should play at every Nightclub at least once per day. No exception.

I kinda hope some day we get a second game where we play as bat and Rin as adults during the celestial empire arc and then get both playable kenshiro and shachi during the finale aka the land of shura arc

Yeah it's due to his status as the successor of the strongest art of Nanto Seiken that I much preferred the character being referred to as Souther. Just having that name further cements his dominion over the other practitioners of Nanto Seiken.

Even better: the word "souther" means "southernly wind." All the main Nanto styles are named after birds. Souther is literally the wind beneath Nanto's wings.

@@asdf4evr That symbolism also pairs well with the fact that Souther's style of Nanto Seiken is not named after an ordinary species of bird like the Eagle or Waterfowl (Nanto Koshu Ken and Nanto Suicho Ken, respectively), but is instead named after a mythical creature: the Fenghuang (Ho-oh in Japan), which is a legendary ruler of birds that is associated with the Chinese Empress. So not only is Souther literally the wind beneath the wings of Nanto Seiken and the other members of the Nanto Rokusei Ken, but he is also essentially a divine figure in comparison to them.

Yeah Go gutoku games tend to do that. They’ll usually give the most badass themes to characters that don’t compare anything to the other bosses in their games. But this isn’t yakuza. Because every boss theme in this game is badass.

Can I ask a question why hasn’t anyone suggested that Kenshiro be a dlc character for Mortal Kombat? So many people have suggested Kiryu for Tekken but no one bothered to suggest Ken for MK it’s just silly.

Because Japan banned Mortal Kombat so no and anime characters less likely join a hyper realistic game like that let alone a western game. Even tho Kenshiro is a violent character, gore is not mainstream over there.

Well, just like Kratos, if they added Kenshiro they'll have to alter some of the fatalities because they can't turn a tough character into a wimp, for example, Kratos has a different fatality sequence when Johnny Cage (Trophy fatality) and Ermac (Shrink fatality) performs on him. Because of that, Kenshiro will have a complete different fatality sequence perform on him from Johnny and Cassie Cage. Since he hardly reacts in pain, Kenshiro will have some huge changes as he can't scream in pain nor be mutilated when he is being finished.
