The translation are not poor or wrong ...they are censored by times....the land of free speech, isn't the US for sure...it is infected by a moral issue. The word 'shit' never appears, although everyone does it daily..😊.😊

the translation in the subtitles was a little bit off I think. " To hell with their blessing" is not at all what the german lyrics say: It is more like "you pay for their blessing". I believe this is quite a difference.

I really appreciate your mind of thinking (everybody have to think what is right for its own). You are more or less equal old than i am - so we were both raised in a time where that thinking was still right. Back than you had a free speech. But today (i can only speak for germany, not for the US, who is a bit more "free" even today i think) we in germany are in a way of com mmu nism again. What the onkelz for an example played back than in 2014 is today not possible anymore. Even Rammsteins concerts got banned and forbidden today in most places here. We got crazy because the green left ra dic als took over the power. Today i can watch them online, yes. But tomorrow, in a few years, we will be banned and cen sorded even online. I just want to point that out for some people who can look at that from the outside in some years.

The song is not against faith or honest believes. It is a song against religious Institutionen who forge force and power out of peoples needs.

You can believe in god WITHOUT the church. You don't need them, they need YOU to survive.

It's a good Song, but I don't agree 100% with the text.It's about the Catholic Church and we have a lot of child abuse cases here in Europe. And instead of clarifying lies, those responsible have been lying for decades. Still, I think that for a lot of people, believing is important. Not for me, I left the church. 😁

Well the problem is that if you believe in god it can give you hope and meaning, but it is just a substitute. After all god is dead and according to Nietzsche once you accept that and stare into the abyss, you will become a true emancipated human being. Not infantilized anymore. Christianity has a good basic codex and after all you create meaning by building a community with spirituality. But all in all giving your life into the hands of Jesus or "god" is evasion and not brave.
