The paint job looks so pretty! One thing that I would do is, change the block for the tremelo, since it’s not tall enough, you might as well change it and put a big brass one in, and the tremolo Springs to Floyd, rose quiet Springs. You can even go as far as to change the claw to a Floyd rose brass claw. Some of my videos on my channel show that.

I use Fender foam/cushion under the pickup and surgical tubing or piping you get with old Strat pickups where the screw goes through on each side of the pickup for wood mounted pickups. Makes the wood mount rock solid. A contemplated this for a while. ✌️

its not a fad the japanese build their guitarts without pickup rings but they are vary vary maticulase on thier quality.

I only like pickup rings on LPs and PRSes. All others...rings are deal breakers for me . Besides it's easier to add a pickup ring then to take one off - the holes. It's not just better aestheticlly, imo, but it's better tonally to have it direct mounted

i had a custom specra by westone red and blue crtackle had a floyd but i guess it came with as khaler spyde originaly. ui o ver paid for it used in the late 90s

Great paint job! Just wanted a few pointers I think you need to add a shim bc that action looks pretty high and bridge pickup looks pretty low. And i think you need a bigger block for the FR bc those are springs are being pulled from a down angle by a lot and if it was in my case, i would've token the opportunity to put a big brass block on it from futone or Stone tone blocks from Floyd Rose. And tbh just by its sound i think i would need a neck pickup on it and probably would've left the 3 pickup configuration but that's just me and my opinion. But looks killer though! And one question whats the shape of the neck? D or C shape?

Love this concept. I like working on guitars, though sometimes it’s frustrating. Myself I found an Aria Pro 2 ES500 that I’m working on at the moment. It has a Varitone and the guitar was not making sound, so I had to rip out all the electronics and found a loose wire. Now that sucker is wedged inside the body and I’m not sure if I will just let is stay that way since it’s not functional. I mean I got the guitar to work and it’s gonna be playable, but it bugs me just a little bit. So if I keep it I might give it a try again when I forgot the agony of working on hollow and semi-hollow bodied guitars.

should have reshaped the headstock as itts not correct shape. reguardless of the promo it sold under. No wonder you couldn't put a pickup ring on it as the route was cut too close to the bridge, did you do that work? Crackle finish looks good

How did they get that paint job? It looks like it was dipped, but I don't know too much about that process if that's what it was...

he missed on the angled humbucker a tad.. oops ... it's a nice paint job but I don't think I would have painted over that guitar considering their rarity, not sure when the last time you tried to source one but they cannot be found and the last ones sold for $800+ .. I also think you downgraded the pickup selection, if anything leave the humbucker square and go H S plug the middle where it can be easily removed and brought back to stock just me, I tend to not mess with vintage guitar much if I do I do it in a way they can always be restored. a water base paint that can be rubbed off to reveal the stock finish beneath something like that or lacquer where you can rub off coats .. all the ther BC's you mod up are whatever there are so many of them around but this one is not as readily available anymore and being a special promo guitar ... all good, use a pickup ring and move that pick up towards the low E like 2-3mm it will respond better, OR, do what Charvel did and use two singles glued together in humbucker mode but line up the magnets... I have one of those Charvel Fusions.. they did it on a few, one is an HSS on a pickguard, not sure if it will fit in the route as it is, on the rear routes Charvel angled the route as well and rounded the ends of the single, you've seen that one, google Charvel Fusion, not the deluxe.. you'll see what I'm referring to..
