I was there. Taisuke definitely should have won. He killed Lilou in the first round, second round was a tie, and he took the third round. Really can't understand why the judges voted for Lilou (apart from the fact that Lamine ALWAYS votes for the French b-boys).

2 round was close, but i edge difficulty in taisuke’s favor. Yes lilou was more musical, but thats it. Pace, flow and difficulty for taisuke

I find it funny that everyone says Lilou bit Benji. So what, maybe he did? But guess what, you weren't the first person to invent the indian step. You weren't the first person to do a windmill, flare, air flare, halo, etc. EVERY SINGLE BBOY IS A BITER. It's not about who copies what, it's about who can ADVANCE it and make it better.

Most judges I seen (from battles I've been in too) seem to judge more on how you execute what you do (personality, accentuation, control) over flashiness. Taisuke is very, very good, yes. But Lilou showed more personality and he infused that into his sets better than Taisuke did. Idk, it's another perspective

First of all Poe1 is not stupid , he 's an amazing judge ! And I cant see any crashes by lilou here accept that one slip in the begining ... I love both taisuke and lilou they're one of the craziest bboys on this planet ... What happened here is ..Taisuke was really fast , energetic but he lacked smoothness , was on beat but he kept repeating the freezes , and lilou came up with different moves in every round , was enrgetic (more than taisuke actually) and was killing the beats and that extra agressive attitude and confidence which he had in him made him win this round. Btw this was a close battle , even if taisuke won , I'd have been happy ! sorry for my bad english anyway .

Lilou may have a rude attitude while battling but let's not forget that he uses all elements of bboying while battling (toprock ,footwork, flexibility, power, freezes and character) unlike Taisuke who only do power in most of his every sets, which is clearly not enough to win a battle. I know all of you were carried by Taisuke's 1st round but don't forget about the other 2 rounds which clearly belong to Lilou. So don't base your judgement by a single round and just because you hate Lilou because of his recent issue on Benji. Peace.

***** actually it does.. like in America MTV show. Amerca Best Dance Crew. They had asian as top bracket group for 3 season straight.. on the 4th season they eliminated most of asian group even tho they were better dancers than other constestant... The culture of b-boy has change, it s not all about skill anymore

That big slip in Lilou's first set could have cost him the battle, but while its very noticeable in this video, everyone who was watching live at the event didn't noticed it because people's attention was drawn to his shoe in the air that flew off his foot right before it happened and he recovered really fast from it. Aside from that one minor slip, Lilou was on point in this battle, so its not hard to see why he won even though it was a close battle.

Can't believe I'm seeing this!! Taisuke got robbed!! It was his year - I so want to see Taisuke gets a Red Bull BC One Championship Belt!!
