Taisuke is the cleanest Bboy out there but his short rounds let him down and another thing to be applauded is the stamina and content of Hong 10. I honestly can't seem to let go of this generation of Bboys, the golden generation I believe...Lilou, Taisuke, Hong 10, Wing, Lil G, Roxrite, Neguin, Victor,Junior etc to name some from the''golden generation''!!

This was Bboy Taisuke final BC One because he announced his retirement from this competition. It's sad that he never won it but either way he is one of the best bboys and I have nothing but respect for him!

maybe when he comes across other bboys in competitions and in between sessions with his crewmates, he wanted to set himself apart from others by adding more dynamic transitions and explosive style/power into his set. when you're young, you want to follow those who come before you. when you grow older, you want to do things your way. i'm not solely talking about signature moves but signature movement.

Taisuke is a warrior do not fall. He is artist painting for background.

you see the brotherhood between the two of them from behind the scenes become more apparent here. Hong10 blowing a kiss at the end of the first round but Taisuke responding saying that if he's retiring this year, he has to show the world how fierce he really is, that if it's his last battle, he wants it to be memorable and with his best moves. Hong10 respectfully responded by bringing out his moves, combos and sets as well. even at the end, Hong10 hugged him dearly. this was a bittersweet battle.

The look on Taisuke's face when the camera panned to him applauding Issei after his win made me feel really bad for him

Yeah he tries to do it fast and dynamic. He needs to change tempo and add some foundation/repetition in footwork concepts on top of his blow up style. Then he would be complete IMO

It's annoying because we know he can do that. Taisuke is one of the most energetic B-boys on the scene, but he barely brought it here. What happened? Idk, but it saddens me to think that one of the best might be losing his touch.

What? That's bullshit. Taisuke is dope and all, but speed and execution isn't jack shit. You need more variety of moves like hong 10 does, or at least have the capabilities to dish out that many levels. That's the problem with taisuke, his rounds are barely 10 seconds, and let's be honest, most of his moves are really similiar, being mostly in jackhammer positions, flare "animation cancels' and etc. "He doesn't need to do longer rounds". Clearly that isn't the case when he lost shit ton of battles because his rounds were too short.

No need to feel bad for Taisuke, he did his best here, and with or without a title he will always be legendary. That being said if he does decide to return for another BC One someday I hope he'll come back with longer sets.

Why did taisuke retire? He was only 26 years old in this

well the man was dead serious about winning his 3rd redbull bc one title so you can imagine he was hype as hell....not to mention he was dope as hell and on point all night. he and issei both deserved that damn title on the other hand....taisuke's been in line for all these years....maybe if he delivered properly in the battle with hong he could have taken it....

Bc one won't be the same without Taisuke. I hope he still battles in the future. He is one of the best of all time. Wish he did his criticals or 2000 set vs hong 10. Props to Hong 10 For still going strong after all these years.

Taisuke has short sets, yes, but the speed and difficulty of his moves make it harder to have longer rounds. Yeah he can make it longer but he could be sacrificing the cleanliness (quality) of his sets. I'd rather have his short and sweet sets rather than having him have sloppy long sets. Thank you for motivating me to dance since 2006, we will miss you!

WOO when Hong gets serious it dose make difference... I love them both. Even, as he said Taisuke's rounds are way too short but man, Taisuke does progress a lot (compared to those rounds back to 2014) ! That's amazing. No matter Taisuke's gonna participate bcone or not he is always my hero !!

I don't think his problem is stamina, he is not even out of breath after all of the rounds. It's his style, and very impelling. All his rounds have a well-defined beginning, main part and the end and they are very clear, as any dance should be. Compare to Hong 10, you don't see this structure in his dance at all, I'm not saying Hong 10 is bad, he's great, but stylistically taisuke's dance, structure is just out of the league.

Like....all his signature moves? no to mention how many people use then halo(hong10 frezze) these days. it's become quite a classic freeze. his flow and his moves are his own and nobody can mess with that for sure

Taisuke was very clean throughout all 3 rounds but they felt a lot shorter than normal for him, was expecting him to throw out his signatures like his criticals or germanmills/2000s when Hong 10 threw out his but nothing while Hong 10 just had so much more moves. Hong 10 had 2 major crashes, 1 in round 2 and 1 in round 3 though I wouldn't call it "long crashing sets". Either way both bboys are in my top 3 and was hoping for a grand final with both of them but brackets didn't agree. Taisuke's biggest enemy is still "stamina" =/

Even with these short rounds Taisuke should have won! These rounds were super clean, musicality and fresh from Taisuke.But the main reason is that Hong10 crashed in every round a lot. Plz open eyes guys. A lot crashes from Hond10.That's why 2/3 VOTED for Taisuke! Taisuke could easily win final because he saved his major moves and combos. I'm fan of these two legends, but after this battle i felt sad and watched next battles without any interest. Hong10 is 2 times champ, he did impossible, but Taisuke is not winner, Hope he will come back and win.....

If taisuke went longer he could've won! very big gamble saving moves for the next round.

It was a great battle, just sad that it was Taisukes last BC one...he was the one who tried to win that title more than anyone else (7 times) Hope that he is at least going to be a judge for rbbc one

taisuke has short, but super clean rounds. Not a single slip up hong 10 had minor slip ups in all of his rounds and two noticeable crashes in his last one. but his rounds were way longer and were more dynamic could have gone either way.

I sit on everyday to learn some old facts from different people such as Crazy Legs,Rahiem, Afrika Islam and others, i have tons of things to say when it comes to hip hop in general,but since were talking about this event. Ok all the judges judge differently of course, but when its clearly obvious that the other opponent won it just has to be objective and fair....i'm not disrespecting their opinion or something, they are professionals that know their shit sticked together precisely accurate.

Taisuke is so good but I don't think he'll ever win a title with how good some of the new generation is coming out to be. Still hands down a legend in the books. It feels so unlucky because he always ends up with some of the toughest competition.

2nd round taisuke was on fire if his other rounds were longer he easily would take this battle
