to be honest there's something really beautiful about issei winning this battle. in the first bc one he was in he was taken out by victor in the first round. last year he lost to him again in the second round. to face against him as last year's champion for the third time and to win in the semifinals really does make issei the underdog. to top it off issei faced 2-time champion hong 10 in the finals and barely took it by one vote in his homeland. this is probably one of the best bc one world finals we've had in a while.

victor wasnt hungry enough. issei was really fired up and i think thats why he won. also Issei's set structure are a lot more clear to me but to each their own

Good win for Issei since he always loses to Victor in every competition. I think Victor spent too much time replying to Issei's moves and not adding enough of his own content. His last set was just a move-by-move repeat of Issei's last set.

i'm agree with you, victor have anything, Creative footwork, style, power, original. he should win if he had more stamina and clean movement. his move is more weak than ussualy, he crashing a bit, and he look like tired at last round. it look like he get a rest after he win many event in 2015.

This was definitely my favorite battle of the night, both did well. I would've liked to see a tiebreaker to be honest, but Victor choked on that last round, issei hit him hard on that last round well deserved by issei, Vic's still my fav!!
