extra fact: akashi's support skill that increases vanguard reload by 15% does NOT stack with the same skill from unicorn, so if you have both uni and akashi in backline, only lvl up one of their same skill. Here are other video ideas other than research gear: make a vid explaining the importance of support backliners like akashi, and vestal since new players might not know just how essential they are for late game content and SP clearing in events. You can also make a guide about cost efficient farming ships that are good for event farming and nodes to farm specific currency. Side note: fastest guide i have ever watched GG!

I'm currently pushing for 12-4 and my boss fleet is getting peppered by planes at 12-3 lmao. I just realized i pushed to lvl 90+ using only a couple of ships so I only have a couple of 115+ ships. I also regret not leveling akashi.

Repair ships repair ships. But sometimes repair ships repair repair ships.

You sir, are the definition of Waifu > Meta, I respect that. For main gun, I'd recommend putting a Triple 406mm since she doesn't have a barrage. This way she'll be able to do more damage, and with her skill that grants extra reload, you could potentially shoot another salvo pretty fast for good amounts of damage. For secondary, I'd go with the Twin 127mm destroyer gun, but just keep in mind that even though this is the best choice for her, BC's do not get the option to get a CL gun so a couple of suicide boats will still probably detonate on your backline. AA gun you can really pick anything, most of them are similar to each other. For Aux, it's totally up to you. Want more damage? Put a Black/White shell on or if you don't have those core data items, just slap on a Fire Control Radar + SG Radar. Want more survivability? Use a repair toolkit or fire extinguisher. Using Repulse may make you encounter a lot of problems in the future due to her mediocre skill and poor stats, but I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors!

I've got the same attitude towards Tennessee since she was my first oath ship, and the state that I live in. I've got her set up with 406 Mk IV, 127 Mk 12, the Octuple 40mm Pom Pom, Black shell, White shell, and the watermelon slice weapon skin for her mains, because that's classy.

So i can't put 3 ship maintenance facilities on one repair ship because they don't stack?

But does having two AA guns mean much when their AA stat are almost non-existent? Wouldn't self sufficient healing just be outright better?

Late reply and you might already know but I'll answer for others who might have the same question. The mechanics for AA makes it compute the average stats of all AA weapons equipped (Damage/Reload Time/Range) and this appears as the dotted circle around the vanguard when enemy planes appear. Now what makes two AA guns give meaning even if the AA stats are low is that you can put two FAST RELOAD AA guns there to increase the number of damage tick possible in the very short time enemy planes pass by. Or included with two AA radars give a passable AA boost. (Reminder: It's better to equip the best AA guns to those with higher AA stats/AA gun efficiency) This might not be the best AA for a ship but this makes them not completely useless and atleast contribute in defense as we know there will always be people who'll complain that repair ships are useless for anything else but healing.

I like use vestal for AA because her heal can't compare akashi, give her 300 AA stat make her hit harder

How do you actually get the stars up for a ship? I have a 55lv Langley with 1 out of 4 stars. Wanted to retrofit her - but got stuck on one of the enhancements which requires the ship to be a 2 star...

Go to the ship in the dock. Find the limit break tab below the retrofit tab. Then you have to feed her a copy of the same ship (or a bulin), and a bit of gold. This can be done 3 times and requires level 10, 30 and 70. The last time requires two copies. Each time increases stats significantly and increases the oil cost.

Never really got into FGO so I can't say, but if you're talking about some kind of buddy/friend assist, Azur Lane has none of that. The friend system is kinda useless because all you can do is check out your friend's dorms and send them a message, and that's literally everything you can do.

How does skill stacking work?

If there are two or more of the same ability/skill, only the higher level one will proc while the other ones don't do anything. So if I had a repair toolkit that healed for 5% HP every 15 seconds, having two of them would NOT make it 10% HP every 15 seconds. It would still be 5% because the skills do not stack.
