Great video! I just have one question. To use as filling for nerikiri wagashi, do I need to mix it with mochi like the nerikiri or can I just used paste straight away? (the thick version)
@misswagashi

That's a good question! For the nerikiri filling, you can use the paste straight away. Just round into balls and wrap in a nerikiri dough! Thanks for asking! ❤️
Hi. Could you perhaps post one using Koji?
can you just use pressure cooker after the first boil and removing the bitter flavor?
Just courius , about the exp , if i put this paste in fridge how long the paste can stay ?
Hi,can I substitute azuki red beans with the usual red beans?
What can i use as a sugar alternatives?
If pressure cooker are used to cook the bean, will it taste and texture will be different..?
I dont have azuki beans so can i just use normal beams
Beautiful for vegan desserts… grazie!!🎉
Hi chef. So, I want to make those buns filled with sweet red bean paste. However, I want to prepare the paste myself since they don’t sell it locally. I was wondering whether the beans you used are actually the same as Red Kidney Beans.

Actually they are azuki beans, a red bean native to Japan. They are much smaller then kidney beans but you can use kidney beans in a pinch!

can we use canned azuki beans for paste? I want to make yokan. thank you
@misswagashi
2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Sometimes canned azuki beans are already sweetened with sugar. In that case, additional sugar is not needed.
Would a pressure cooker speed up the process?
Your voice is very soft and cute i like it.💜

Can I use less sugar or will that alter the recipe too much? The red bean pastes I've tasted are extremely too sweet for me.
