I own a Ti-FLY X and recently added that Dream Seat. It was perfect for cold weather riding. It kept me noticeably warmer than the mesh seat, and, of course, I enjoyed the comfort of the padding. I look forward to seeing how the seat will perform in the warmer weather coming up. So far, I've ridden in temperatures up to the mid-70s and it was still comfortable.

I'm curious about the Dream Seat.. how do they do in wet weather..? do they become a wet sponge? or do they repel the rain and water? I would appreciate your impression as an owner of a Dream Seat.. Thanks

@@rdkuless Sorry, but I've only ridden in mostly dry weather. Even with light mists or sweat, I didn't notice any sogginess. On the positive side with the Dream Seat, I was hoping to avoid the wetness that would come through the mesh seat, and I did manage to stay dry riding through puddles and mildly flooded sections of trail (because I don't have fenders).

I have been an HP fan for years. I own 3 including a Scorpion FS26 S-Ped, an FS26 SE, and a Gekko tricked out with two di2 systems for front crank and rear Afine 11. There's no way we would have the HP Ergo Mesh Premium seat if it had not been for ICE and their Ergo-Luxe seat. So like I thank Ford Bronco for lighting a fire under Jeep to make AC standard and offer Rubicon trail features on standard models, so goes ICE versus HP. But it is high time HP innovate more than a Delta trike. Am I asking for the flying cars we were all promised? No. But HP got its start enclosing trikes to stay out of the rain during their paper route. It's time for a velomobile.

I am itching to get my paws on a Ti-Fly X. With luck, this year, but it depends on how fast I can save up!

They are wider than a normal 32" doorway... not sure how you bring them inside.

@@rdkuless Mine live in the garage, which helps :-). However, I did pick up a tip while visiting ICE in Falmouth some years ago. To get Trikes through their side door, (to save opening up the big roller shutter), they pick up the rear wheel, turn the front wheels to one side or the other, and go through 'side ways' so to speak. That has the effect of making the machine narrower by a couple of inches.

@@coniow Thank you.. i also have to turn my wheels to make the Akerman narrower.. didn't think about lifting the rear wheel.. I always learn something new when i talk to trikers.. :) cheers.

Hello Honza.. I'm curious about the Dream Seat in the rain, do they keep the foam from getting wet? or are these for fair weather riding? Rob PDX USA
