Holy shit, there’s even character nuance with the father. He’s still overbearing and harsh, but there is a layer of consideration for his son even in the midst of their dispute. For the purposes of a rock opera, simpler characters are perfectly suitable, but to write rounded characters like this is a marvelous touch!

(2 months later) Well, that seems to be a constant with Arjen, even in Day 16 : Loser, I feel like the Father care a lot more than what he let it seems (it still a simulation so maybe I'm looking too far into it...)

Dee is clearly playing Tipper Gore on this album.

Dee Snider as a overbearing father is a nice TWIST of the saying: "You either die a hero or see yourself become the villain."

And Mr. Satriani is here, what a great guitar solo.

I'm so happy to hear Marcela Bovio and Caroline Westendorp in this song.
