In this episode of Minecraft Legends, I had a plan in mind: taking down the next nether portal. Approaching the Horde of the Spore's base, I wasted no time and immediately started curing netherrack to construct essential structures. The towering terrain posed a challenge, but we built ramps to navigate our way up.
As we destroyed the first Horde of the Spore structure, a surprising cutscene revealed two mighty Lava Coils guarding the nether portal. It became clear that we needed to eliminate these coils first before dealing any damage to the portal itself.
Traversing the unusual terrain, we encountered obstacles at every turn. But with strategic defensive positions equipped with arrow towers and the relentless force of my cobblestone golems, we made significant progress. The First of Oak, our powerful ranged ally, proved to be a game-changer, albeit with a few clumsy falls due to the tricky cliffs.
Our journey took an unexpected twist as I returned to the nearest village, only to find it under attack by the Horde of the Bastion. Despite their heavy piglin army, we defended the village successfully, though the stone walls needed rebuilding.
Heading back to the Horde of the Spore base, we stumbled upon one of their outposts housing imprisoned wolves. Our revitalized army swiftly dismantled their structures, granting us an abundance of precious prismarine.
Eager to make the most of our resources, I hurried back to the Well of Fate and crafted some useful improvements. With the Gather Diamonds upgrade and Allay Storage upgrade, we vastly increased our carrying capacity.
Returning to the outpost, we cracked open one of their Piglin chests, reveling in the satisfying treasures that awaited us. With renewed determination, we continued our ascent, constructing ramps all the way up to the Nether Portal.
We braved the awkward terrain, focusing on destroying the Lava Coils protecting the portal. Once both Lava Coils were vanquished, I made a detour back to the nearby village, utilizing their resources to craft a Blast Tower power tower and a trusty Redstone Launcher, crucial for our final assault.
With our mighty army and the newly acquired firepower, our offensive capabilities were unmatched. We obliterated the Horde of the Spore's first nether portal, triggering an intriguing cutscene featuring piglins offering food and other tributes to their leader, The Devourer.
As we relished the victory, our eyes caught sight of another piglin chest filled to the brim with tantalizing loot. It was an opportune moment to return to the Well of Fate, wrapping up the episode and leaving us pondering the adventures that lie ahead.
